NOT BAD, BUT EXPECTED BETTER.
Went to Elgin on recommendation of friend and found Meyers. Brisket and pork ribs were just a little better than average. I didn't like either the beef or pork sausages.
BBQ sauce was the highlight of the meal. Very tasty but not overpowering.
Would probably not go back.

Best damn B-BQ anywhere. I went there to get some of that famous Elgin Hot sausage, but looking at the menu I had to try the brisket and ribs. When I got home I was so glad that I had bought the ribs and brisket. All of the food there is wonderful. Try their sauces!!!

The Best BBQ'd Chicken. My husband and I make the drive to Elgin just for the bar-b-qued chicken halves. They are so juicy and flavorful that they melt in your mouth. The sausage isn't too bad either. I also love their sauce, its served hot and tangy.
