great work and great staff. I went to Scarlet Red Salon and had my nose pierced (by Issac), was fast and easy. The work I've seen by them is great, and I'm going back to see what I can do about having my sleeves worked on. The staff there was just awesome; easy to talk to and nice just all around nice people. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering a piercing or tattoo. I can't WAIT to see what my ideas will look like on paper, then in ink!!!

Travis Crow did an amazing job!. Got hooked up Friday 12/02/2011. Travis did a bad a@@ job, clean lines, great colors and very professional... I will be going back for sure, price for the piece on arm was good for all the color and lines

IF YOU HAVEN'T GONE, GO!!!. I don't get where all those negative and ridiculous reviews are coming from, but they must be crazy or something..

The staff and environment in this business are both great!

It's clean, and uniquely decorated. It's fun and has a wonderful vibe.

They are stand up, awesome people at Scarlet Red!

Don't let the incorrect and negative reviews fool you.

perfict place for tattoos & getting your hair done. This place is amazing!! you can get your hair done, tattoos, and piercings done there, the women are beautiful funny and amazing at what they do with hair! me and my wife get our hair done there all the time and the kids have fun there. the tattoo artist and body piercer is real good from his work that i seen. i seen him finishing up a portrait tattoo and i must say it came out AMAZING looked just like the picture. check them out. look them up on facebook to see some of there work. search for "Scarlet Red salon and tattoos" georgetown for anything you might need. hair, tattoo, and piercings.

Have curly hair? You know my pain‎‎. Ok you curly haired people out there, you know what its like. They all say "yeah I know how to cut curly hair" and then they wet your hair and cut a straight line as if your hair will stay like that. But now I've found Cirstan and I hope she never ever ever retires ever. If she does, I'm shaving my head.‎

Great service and environment. Going to Scarlet Red is an inviting place for both men and women. The staff is welcoming, the location is good and always very clean, the service is great. Amber makes sure my hair always looks good and she is pleasant to be around. She's always flexible with her schedule and every appointment is never rushed but still completed in the 30 minute service they offer for men. I have and will continue to recommend Amber at Scarlet Red to others.

Wonderful, personalized service. I've been hunting a good stylist for years, and have finally found one in April. I'm not particularly adventurous with my look, and she's great at helping me try new things without taking me too far out of my comfort zone. She works extraordinarily hard to accommodate my requests, and has even come in before her scheduled work hours to squeeze me in for an emergency trim.

I've never gotten as many compliments on my hair as I have since April starting cutting it!

The rest of the staff is always friendly and inviting, and the salon is clean, well-lit, and welcoming.

From experience, it's the best salon in the country!. I was formerly a client of a salon in Round Rock before becoming a client of Cirstan at Scarlet Red. Unfortunately, I moved from Texas to the east coast a little less than 2 years ago and have since had to try many new salons to find anything half as good as Scarlet Red. It is impossible. All the salons in or around Austin just simply do not compare to the style presented by Scarlet Red. No offense to other salons, this is just my opinion. I wish I was there to have Cirstan style my hair for the day, give me a fabulous cut or faux hawk, and some amazing highlights. To say this salon or it's employees are dirty, scary or weird is just completely false. If you calling having TONS of personality and style weird, I say be weird as hell then! This salon rocks, the stylists rock, and I could not recommend a place any more than SCARLET RED! Cirstan, you are awesome and you've done many great things. I hope it only gets better!
