Don't trust them. At first they seemed professional, but when I came back to complain about my missing custom parts I was disrespected to the fullest. There service manager was of no help. I will never spend my money there ever again. A word to the wise, STAY away from Hog Alley.

Very poor customer service. There are several bike shops around Austin. Don't bother waiting your time with Hog Alley. The will just leave you frustrated and feel like you are not appreciated for doing business there. They are over priced and friendly service does not exist here. I recommend avoiding this place, you'll be glad ya did.

Not worth the trouble.... They overcharged me, took thier sweet ass time to do the work. When I finally got my bike back, it wasn't long before their handywork FAILED. I had to pull teeth to get my bike fixed under their "warranty" (which might as well be lip service). And again, once I got it home, I realized the work done wasn't what I paid for. I asked for Screaming Eagle parts, what I got was one used cylinder, and the good cylinder moved to the front. Also they used Keith Black hypereutectic pistons (bad idea for air cooled motors, and again, NOT what they charged me for!!)

This WAS a great place, 5 years ago, when Dean and Martha were focused on the shop, and NOT the restaurant next door. The street reputation of this shop has hit the ground in recent years, Now they are good for tshirts and leather, and that's about it. I will be dealing with the dealership from here on out.

BOTTOM LINE: Don't trust the smile, once they have your money, they could care less about DOING THE RIGHT THING. Find one mechanic that has been there for more than a year, good luck.

Time flies...but nothing changes. I've been going to The Alley for parts since they were on the corner of I-35 and FM195. Didn't gripe too much about paying retail for everything...Since there is really nowhere else to go except the stealer for aftermarket or Harley parts. Never had a problem cause I never had a problem...if you know what I mean. Went in for advice on a part issue... I was assured my part was "bad" and needed to be replaced. I did and my part wasn't bad ! Because my bike continued to do the same thing with my "new" part. Needless to say when I went to exchange/refund/credit...whatever. I was told no return on installed parts...I thought sh*t, I wouldn't have replaced the part if I hadn't been told it was "bad". So, unless you know exactly what you need...or want an overpriced hamburger. Make the trip down to Bud's where at least the counter staff know WTF they are talkin' about. I'm with Steelpassion they still don't give a f*ck about customer service.

This shop feels like home!!. My home shop in the Austin area for 10 years. I've bought one classic bike from them. They've sold me gobs of parts and serviced my other 3 sleds. When you ride old bikes, things happen. Dean, Martha, and their staff have always been helpful in getting my issues resolved. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of goods and services and never been disappointed. Their daughter, Erica, has been my go-to parts person for years. She always gets me the correct pieces and at the right prices. If she can't find it or no one makes what I want, she finds a way to create it. She pieced together the prettiest wheels and tires with parts from several manufacturers. Had the rims powder coated, hubs chromed, and assembled in their shop. That was 6 years ago and I still get compliments. I moved 120 miles away this year and still buy all my stuff from them. Wouldn't consider anyone else. Best shop in central Texas!

Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde of Motorcycle Shops. Hog Alley in Georgetown sells beautiful custom choppers. But that's all there is to the beauty of their business. Customer Service at best good if there are any problems, but a hint of a problem and it goes out the window. If you're a lucky you can have your motorcycle worked on and escape without problems. If not, you'll experience a true "lack of accountability" level of sales prevention and customer service frustration, followed by a huge dose of economic hardship unmatched by any shop in Central Texas. So, if you take pride in what you ride steer clear. Trust those who really deserve it and bypass the chop shop in Georgetown.
