Best Eye Exam Ever!!. I was a little skeptical about our visit because I had read the reviews posted here. Because of that I wanted to post to let everyone know there is no reason to be skeptical at all!! I have two boys ages 9 and 11. They have been in glasses since they were 18 months old. We have seen many doctors and specialists over the years. Dr. Lynne Kennington has been the best yet!! She explained what was wrong with their eyes and what they should expect in terms they could understand. She spent 2 hours with them and was very thorough with the exams, fittings, and everything! She even sat down with my son and patiently taught him to put in his new contacts. The staff was great and we will never use anyone else. She is the best.

Dr. Lynne Kennington. I just got home from my first visit with Dr. Kennington. I have nothing but good things to say about her. She cared and took the time to hear what I had to say and even brought a eye model in to explain to me retinal detachment since I was told to look out for it. She was thorough and professional and I couldn't have asked for a better visit. I have been to a Wal Mart OD before, but that was years ago. I did not have a positive visit and was very skeptical going back since moving here to the Round Rock area, but it all worked out great.

The staff were also very nice. I will return to see her.

For Your Own Good, Go Elsewhere. Kennington was very rude to me. How clever of her to make sure no one else would hear the mean things she was saying to me, by confining her comments to the time we spent alone in the exam room. I wanted my husband to come in and witness the way she was treating me, but I was not given the chance. Out of the blue, she started antagonizing me about my eyes (aren't doctors supposed to be compassionate, and help their patients?) and again because my prescription wasn't current, which was why I was there in the first place. I've never known an eye doctor could be so mean! She went ballistic for no apparent reason, spouting invective like a volcano, and suggested I go somewhere else because "not all people get along" (or words to that effect) --- when we were already halfway through the appointment! How does she stay in business? I doubt I'm the first person she has treated that way.

Dr. Kennington VERY professional!. After I saw the negative review for Dr. Kennington on this site I had to sign up and type my own review because I have been her patient for four years now. My entire family: husband, son, daughter, have been seen by her and her husband as well... they are VERY professional, personable, family-oriented doctors. When you make an appointment to see Dr. Kennington or her husband, they will talk to you about how you are doing, what you do for a living, ask if you've been having any special problems, and thoroughly examine your eyes. My contacts and glasses have always been crystal clear after getting my prescriptions filled by Dr. Kennington at Walmart. I find her to be smart, kind, and thorough - and I have for years. Otherwise, do you think our whole family would keep going back to her or her husband??? Not a chance. By far, the best OD's in the Round Rock, Texas area.

Great customer service and he was a sight for my sore eyes!. I just back from my visit and saw Dr. Hamilton. He was very likeable, knowledgeable, and efficient. The receptionist was a doll. Service was quick and I was not hasseled or made to feel guilty because I didn't get the full package. I got an appointment immediately, didn't wait at all and filled my perscription in less than an hour. My budget is tight and it was a stretch just to go! I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton. I believe that he also has a practice just across the I35 at Sundance Shopping Center. He's young, good-looking, and congenial!

Worst OD That I Have EVER Been To - Stay AWAY. My daughter was in tears by the time her eye examine was done. Ms. E. Lynne had no patience and was impossible to talk with, it was her way or the highway. Apparently the problems my daughter was having was all in her head!!! She talked to me like I was a 2 year old. She didn't care what I had to say.

My husband also had an appointment with her on a different occasion and she was very rude and short with him. He thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Boy were we wrong.

STAY far away from this optometrist. She is a quack.
