"Idli" is a spongy, fermented grain cake, and while it looks like something you could scrub your bathtub with, it is absolutely divine dipped in one of Chola's many Indian sauces, absorbing all the flavor into one savory, tasty bite.
Good Food, Good Service. My family has been going here since it opened. I have been to Indian rest around the world, including England and the West Indies, and this one holds it own in comparison. The food is very fresh, you can tell the do not use canned or frozen foods. The sauces on the dishes have great flavor. Their lunch buffets are even really good and fresh, and I typically do not like buffets due to typically having low quality food. We have also always had great service.
Great Food!. We eat at Chola a few times a month and have never been disappointed. Friendly service and the best Saag Paneer around!
If you are looking for good Indian food look elsewhere. I don't have any complaints about the service (as one review had)... however, I must say, I was very disappointed with the food. I have been to many Indian restaurants (cities include: Los Angeles & greater area, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Philadelphia, DC, New York & Montreal). The food at Chola was not horrible it was just: Blah. Besides the flavors being very bland the curries had very little meat. The thing that set the tone for me was the watered-down chutneys that were brought to the table with the papadums. There is no way I'd eat there again, unless it's free.
If you want to pay for a high dollar dinner and get treated unprofessionally, Go For It!!!!. The gentleman running the place is a short Indian guy with mustache. My wife's entree cost us $11.99 and we had asked ahead of time if it was a good size portion and he mentioned that it was enough for 2. When her food arrived, it had 2 pieces of cheese in it. We asked the chef to fix it. In return, that manager came and misbehaved with us saying that Indian food is very expensive and we had no right to talk to chef even if the food is terrible. Basically, he ruined our family outing. When we were leaving, he said that food was free but we did not accept it and payed the bill, especially after having being publically insulted. Stay away from this place! If you want to spend good money, might as well go to a resturant which can provide you good food with a pleasant relaxing evening. We have had Indian food at a lot of places but Shame on Chola!!

Best Indian Food in the Area. I brought my mother here yesterday...and they took the time to explain food choices, ingredients. They were so friendly! The atmosphere was wonderful...and the food was great! I've had Indian food several times before, however, this is positively the best I've had. Try the combination meals: you get to try a little of mostly everything...amazing!
YUM..YUM...YUM...YUMMMMMMM!!!!!!. If you love Indian you have to go-delish~~~Very friendly, just a great experince, we will be back again and again :)
