Best BBQ in area

I've been very impressed the four times I've been to Cooper's. Gary, the owner, is always around - and always knows what to suggest. The brisket, sirloin, pork ribs, and pork loin are all first class. Now that he has french fries and peach cobbler, this may well be the best meal in Round Rock - and well worth my 30 minute drive from Austin. Fair warning - he is closed on Sunday and Monday.
- Pros: service, quality
It was good

The food here was pretty good. It was a laid back atmosphere and it looked like most of the people who came in weren't yuppies. The people who own the restaurant must use the place for personal storage and a fishing meetup point because there was a bunch of stuff laying around like it was a garage.
- Pros: Good Food, Friendly People, Non-superficial
Petite Beef Ribs

Homey old BBQ joint; good service, long table seating, ok food.
My first visit in 8-10 years and I now remember why I hadn't been back.
I had the Large Plate: For 6.99 you get 2 meats & 2 sides.
I got a 5" long beef rib with a little meat on one side and 3 small slices of brisket, 4 oz of Potato Salad and 4 oz of Cole Slaw.
The Beef Rib had more than it's share of fat and about 2 bites of beef. Looks like they cut a regular size rib in 1/2. Brisket tasted fine. Cole Slaw looked/tasted a couple of weeks old.
- Pros: quaint, quick
- Cons: Small Servings
