Best BBQ in area. I've been very impressed the four times I've been to Cooper's. Gary, the owner, is always around - and always knows what to suggest. The brisket, sirloin, pork ribs, and pork loin are all first class. It was good. The food here was pretty good. It was a laid back atmosphere and it looked like most of the people who came in weren't yuppies. My first visit in 8-10 years and I now remember why I hadn't been back.
I had the Large Plate: For 6.99 you get 2 meats & 2 sides.
I got a 5" long beef rib with a little meat on one side and 3 small slices of brisket, 4 oz of Potato Salad and 4 oz of Cole Slaw.
The Beef Rib had more than it's share of fat and about 2 bites of beef. Looks like they cut a regular size rib in 1/2. Brisket tasted fine. Cole Slaw looked/tasted a couple of weeks old.…
