Really?!?.
Last night I phoned in an order for pick-up of 3 medium pizzas. The total was 19.45 or 19.55; I do not remember which. I handed the young man a twenty, and he went to a small older man who was making pizzas to get change. The man told him it would be a while, as he had several orders to make, and he went on, telling the person working with him "I need a Buffalo" something. He did not look at me at all, just went on with his pizza-making. I was supposed to wait until he had made more pizzas to get my 45- or 55-cent change? I took the pizzas and told them something like: "Really?!? I am taking my pizzas but will not be returning anytime soon" and left without my change.
So this morning, I thought perhaps this was an example of an exception, rather than the rule on how customers are treated. I phoned the location and spoke to Ashley, who told me that the GM would be in tomorrow and that there was nobody who I might speak with today. She said that she would not be able to give out the phone number of the GM, so I gave her my number for the GM to call. Ashley told me that she was instructed not to bother Gina with anything unimportant, and that I would hear from her tomorrow. Once more, I am left bewildered. Pity; I like the pizza, and the prices are good. But I will not subject myself to that type of disregard again.
