Ordered furniture on May 14th, 2012, was told 2 weeks until delivery. 2 weeks came and no phone calls, so had to call them. Found out that they only had part of our order. We ordered 2 complete bed sets including frames, head and foot boards plus pillows. we are still waiting on 2 pillows and one whole mattres set. They do not call us at all, we have to call them. It has now been almost a whole month, I am very unhappy with this store and their less than poor customer service. I would not recomment buying from them! I have to laugh at their sign on their building, " buy today, get it today". We feel cheated and robbed. Its not like we are having pieces custom made or anything. They blame the shipper and well its not my problem and are unwilling to compensate us in any way for the lengthly delays. Boo!!!!! Word of mouth is the best advertisement out there and well, they must not care about their customer ratings and satisfaction. Again, I do Not recomment them!!!

What furniture? What Communication?. Unfortunately there is not a LOWER rating. After ordering furniture in August and waiting to hear from Estovan for delivery I called and he said a couple of weeks. After that I called again and he admited that he had sold our furniture to someone else and was ordering from the factory. Both he and Patrick the sales manager said I would have furniture for Thanksgiving. Two weeks before Thanksgiving they called me for the first time to say that the order was cancelled. I was originally told they had the furniture in the warehouse and then I was told it was factory order. They did refund my money but after months of calls and upsetment. Now I'm trying to find the furniture we fell in love with but will check out the dealership before ever putting money down again. These people were not up front with us.

Customer Service?????. Let me start off by saying I'm a little unhappy here. My husband and I bought our whole bedroom set from North Carolina direct in San Marcos. He is in the military reserves, so they wouldn't give us a discount b/c he wasn't active at the time. That upset me a little b/c he is still serving our country, he just wasn't overseas at the time. By the time he was shipped over to Iraq we already bought our furniture.

Our armoir clasp (bottom of door to keep the doors closed) broke within a week. I think it was poor construction or there weren't enough nails to keep the clasp nailed down. The finish is also wearing off of our bed rails and we don't even touch them except to change sheets and rotate the mattress. Also, what I thought was real wood (we were told it was solid wood) isn't at all. There is laminate on top of our night stand and that is coming off.So, I called today to schedule a service call so that I could be home when they came by to fix our items. Well, I had to leave a voicemail and the service mgr called me back and told me to look on my box for the 1-800 number. How about customer service and providing for your customers after the sale? I received none of this. He did suggest I call back my sales person if I couldn't get what I needed, and that the sales person's contact name and # should be on my receipt. I feel he was rude and not much help at all.

And to top it all off, I was talking to one of our friends yesterday and she said they had to put cement blocks under their bed b/c it was already bowing down. That's not a quality product at all. For as much as we paid I expected much much more. I wouldn't recommend North Carolina Furniture to anybody...please shop elsewhere!
