foot tattoo. I went to get my first tattoo touched up here and the staff was more then helpful since The first guy did a terrible job. Brian th guy who did the touch up did an amazing job, and added color to make it look better. I absolutely love it! The shop was clean and well organized, and everyone was understanding. And extremely nice. I would recommend anyone near to go here for anything. I will definitly be back for the awesome staff and well done work they provided me. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

ridiculous. went into the shop looking for this Luke that everyone here is talking about, and was told told he was in an accident and died. The guy I talked to was very rude and acted angry at the mention of his name. (guess they get a lot of people coming in asking for him). The place was dark and unorganized and just dirty looking so I left and started looking at other shops. HEAVEN BEHOLD... I found Luke alive and well, like three blocks away at a beautiful, clean, well lit shop, Body Expressions. He was very friendly and took my ideas and turned them into an awesome tattoo that I love! I would never let anyone at Mystic Marks touch me. and for others looking for Luke you can reach him on his facebook, by searching for Luke Callihan... I know for as long as I'm going to school here he will be the only one tattooing me! screw you Mystic Marks!

baby foot tattoo. I really want to thank Luke for doing my tattoo!!!! He did an amazing job. Before i went to mystic marks tattoo I went by classic tattoo cuz my friend referrd me there, they were very rude and when i said i would go somewhere they basically said everywhere else sucked. Well i love my new tattoo and everytime i am in san marcos I will always go to mystic marks and get my tattoos done by luke!!!!! :)

My sugar skull tattoo by Luke. I want to thank Luke for doing an amazing job on my sugar skull and roses tattoo. He is a great tattoo artist one who will even go in to work on his day off. He is a generous and a laid back person who has talent. I definitely recommend him when you go in for your next tattoo!

Support local art. If you like supporting local artists this is the place to go. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted for a while and Luke was able to finally turn that into a reality for me.

The best part is how the ink turned out, so even and dark, better than I expected. Thanks guys!

Best Tattoos in San Marcos! thanks Luke!. During my first semester of college I wanted to try and be a little "dangerous" and get a tattoo...i found Mystic Marks by chance and met the best tattoo artist around!- by the best i mean Luke of course...he was real laid back and cool and made the whole FIRST TATTOO experience completely comfortable and amazing. Even before I got the tattoo, he listened to me, gave me feedback, customized my tattoo and was completely professional. Even the atmosphere of Mystic Marks makes you feel like a badass and makes you feel like you are at a real tattoo place- they play no games. I plan on returning to Mystic Marks for every tattoo I get during college! Luke is absolutely amazing!...make sure to ask for him for the best results. -THANKS LUKE! :)

Are these reviews for the same place?. I walked in, and it was dimly lit, chaotically organized, and the staff was rude, which, after looking at their work, they can't afford to be. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Luke At Mystic Marks. Luke at mystic marks is hands down the way to go if you are planning on getting any kind of ink. I originaly gave him a vague description of what i was looking for and told him to put his own artistic touch on it. What he came up with was more then anything I ever expected. He is really flexible as far as appointments go, proffesional, and is very meticulous when it comes to after care and cleanliness. This wasn't my first tattoo and i was overall impressed and fully satisfied with the work and service. Already in the works of getting more done from LUKE at Mystic Marks.

Tatto with Luke. I just got my very first tattoo. I was incredibly nervous, but Luke made the experience a truly lovely one. Luke is obviously very talented, and did an excellent job on my work, but he was also extremely accomodating, kind, professional, and reassuring. He proved to be a very calming, but capable presence which made the experience every bit as memorable and special as I had hoped. He went out of his way to ensure that the art translated perfectly from my mind to my body. Luke did a beautiful job on my tattoo, and really took the time to do the work right and make me comfortable. I will absolutely be going back for more work with Luke, and I will recommend him to everyone I know. I highly, highly recommend Luke to anyone getting their first tattoo done, as I just could not have asked for a better experience or result.

Art By Luke ~ Greatest Experience Ever. Recently, I needed some work done on a tattoo I've had for ages...I found the perfect artist by chance or fate ~ Luke @ Mystic Marks Tattoo in San Marcos, TX~ such a talented artist and in general, a kind, nice, introspective, laid back, respectful cool guy. He customized my tattoo and gave it life...He is not only a talented artist he's a great guy. Luke is someone who made me feel comfortable during the entire "tattoo experience" and was so easy to communicate with. He listened carefully to me during my consultation, and then carefully customized a design that suited my needs. He certainly is customer oriented, and professional. He clarifies and wants to give the customer a product that they are satisfied and happy with, after all, it is artwork that will last a lifetime...I am extremely happy with my experience...What I found was a competent talented artist who has fine tuned his craft yet is still evolving his artwork, and I plan to return should the need arise in the future. I had such a great experience with this amazing artist...Thank you Luke!!!!!
