great!. Moved to Spacewood a while back and was glad to hear that Lee's was still open and even happier when I swung by there and had lunch. They have great Salads, Gyros along with all the basic great diner stuff..burgers,pizza etc......... I frequent this establishment quite often and I am certain that anyone that goes once will be going back.

Talk about satisfying a craving!!!. Lee's is the quenticential lakeside cafe. It reminds me of the beloved PIER on Lake Austin. Great service, great food, awsome people. Check it out!

Simple Food, Nice People. First, Lee's has a great name....almost by the lake. I appreciate the humor. The staff are quite nice, very welcoming and homey feeling. The building is a tiny one room building with a couple of tables inside and out. Don't plan on bringing your reunion party. The food is simple American, white bun flattop burgers and pizza. The preperation doesn't go much further than converting Cysco products. If you want a simple, quick, greasy burger or basic pizza, this will fit the bill for a cheap price. This is probably why its popular with the construction crowd. If you are looking for more creativity or quality, this is probably not your place.

Try the Belt Melt. Just was a little lake-side dive should be. Small, busy, greasy and GOOD! The burgers are GREAT! The staff is fantastic. Real people work here. Real people eat here. Everyone knows everyone and everyone is welcome! I can't say enough!

My favorite breakfast item is the "BELT MELT". This is basically a BLT w/egg and cheese on a toasted ciabatta bun. YUM! They have a great breakfast selection and Susan will keep ya smiling with a joke and a laugh. She's better than orange juice!

Lunch features the "Lee Burger". This is a double decker burger with cheese and jalapeños that'll satisfy the hungriest of appetites. And the phillys are honestly the best I've ever had in Texas (and I've lived in Phili!), honestly!

I eat breakfast there almost every day! Hope to see you there soon!

Jamie needs a lesson in customer service. I love the food and it's proximity to my house in Briarcliff. But I will never eat there again due to two experiences with the evening manager named Jamie. First in April I received a voicemail from Lee's (Jamie) claiming that I didn't pay for a pizza the Friday before and I needed to come by and pay for it ASAP. I promptly opened my online bank account to find the transaction and then immediately drove to Lee's to clear up any confusion. When I showed Jamie a copy of the transaction with Bank of America he was still skeptical.

Just last Wednesday (4/26/09)My Mother, Aunt and Uncle came out to visit my family. They suggested to pick up Lee's. A few minuets before they arrived I received a call from Lee's. This time a girl named Jen said very apologetically that they had forgotten an item in our order and If I would mind picking it up. So AGAIN I took the drive down to Lee's. When I pulled into the parking lot I was greeted by no one other than my good buddy JAMIE. He immediately stuck his head in my mothers car window accusing her of stealing a menu from the restaurant. ( HAHAHa) He went on saying that he counted the menus before she arrived and there were five and after she left there were four. My mother is an RN and has served this community for 40 years. At first I thought it was funny but I could tell that it really hurt my mothers feelings. He was very insulting and regardless of the great food I'll never spend a cent in that place again.

If you have a problem with the staff, talk the the managers and/or owners. Don't punish yourself b/c of one person you don't like. Dumb.

Love this country gem. I've been going to Lee's for years now. The food is great and very consistent. Wonderful breakfast, and excellent burgers and philly's. The owners make you feel at home everytime. I have never had bad service and I love how clean it is. I highly recommend this place.

Good food, bad help. Food rocks. When i go camping at Pace Bend with my girlfriend we always stop by Lee's for a good greasy meal. But the staff is sometimes moody. Jennifer is a very plesant individual but some chick named Tabitha is a real rude person. I have no idea what my girlfriend and I did to deserve such attitude, but I would recommend everyone try and steer clear of this girl.

Good food run down building. It doesn't look like much-- almost like someone put a doublewide and turned it into a restaurant. The patrons are what you'd expect in the hill country-- some bubba's with a bit of Austin's quirkiness. The tables seem to have a few inches of accumulated grease , but the food here is pretty good. The burgers won't knock your socks off, but they do the job fairly well. I recommend the onion rings and philly cheesesteak- also available with chicken.

I've never had their breakfast, so I can't judge them on that. For lunch or a quick bite after boating, it's great. It's located about 2 miles near the main entrance of Pace Bend park.

I don't like the fact that they close on Sunday and Monday and are only open until 8pm.
