Editorial Review for Pace Bend Park – by Nathan Stull

In Short
One of the largest and most popular parks on Lake Travis, Pace Bend Park occupies more than 1,300 acres. The park boasts six miles of lakefront, which increases and decreases depending on the lake level. There are more than 400 primitive campsites and several dozen RV sites. There are also picnic sites and wave runner rentals. Hiking and swimming are also popular here and there are some great rocky cliffs for diving at your own risk.

Not only did the nice guy at the gate help me, he made my stay very great. Improved Sites are so wonderful! For only $20 per night, felt like a 5-Star Resort! The Park Rangers were cool, but I like the gate guy more!! SEE YA!!

Pros: Everything

If you are in your early twenties to mid thirties and know or have your own boat, I strongly suggest you take the short trip to Pace Bend Park for Memorial Day Weekend. During the day travel to Devils Cove where everyone ties off their boats to each other and parties, there are miles and miles of boats! This party lasts all day Saturday and Sunday Memorial Day Weekend. Make sure you bring your best bathing suit because it is a place to get noticed. Every year people pull up in million dollar yachts, wake-board boats, sundeck boats, houseboats, fishing boats, and even Jet Ski's. Imagine miles and miles of boats for as far as you can see. Girls in thongs, everywhere! Have you ever seen "Girls Gone Wild?" This is equal to that! People fly in from all over the USA to this party. See you there!

Pros: Beautiful!, Diving Cliffs!

Cons: Long walk to bathroom, Steep boat ramps
