Wonderful Cakes, Cupcakes and Cookies. I've ordered cakes, cupcakes and cookies. They have all been wonderful-fresh, pretty, very tasty and good quality. Many friends, family members and co-workers have commented on how delicious their products are and requested the name of the bakery. The owner and her employees are always gracious and want to provide just what the customer is looking for.

So disappointed!!!!. I am so sad to say that a good tasting cake is about all this bakery offers. Unfortunately, when I paid a lot of money for a professional cake with a great presentation, you can imagine how shocked I was to receive a damaged cake.

I went to pick up the cake for my sister's 40th birthday and the cake had cracks running all through the icing. I was completely shocked. When I asked about the cracks, the manager was called from the back, but all she could offer was an explanation of how the butter cream frosting works when it dries...it cracks!!! As I stood there in amazement thinking 'is this really happening?' I, also, was thinking that there's obviously a disconnect...'I am not communicating clearly.' So, again, I calmly and professionally brought up that the cake was damaged with cracks all over it. The manager, once again, explained that the icing cracks. Hello....I thought I was getting a professional cake. For some reason, the manager thought that the cake was acceptable with the obvious cracks all over it. Getting absolutely no where, she never offered me a reimbursement of any amount for my damaged prepaid cake and her only solutions were to add more decorations to cover the cracks or leave it.

With all that said, this is not a professional level of quality bakery. They have no problem providing a cake with obvious flaws.

On the bright side, the cake did taste good. After a few drinks, the jokes were flying about the cracks in the cake. But when I pay for a professional job, I expect it. I can no longer purchase any more cakes from this bakery.

amazing wedding cake. I cannot find words for my reaction when I saw the wedding cake Fantasy Cakes created for my wedding. The scrollwork was amazing, and the green hydrangea was stunning on both the bride and the groom cakes. I could never have imagined how glorious the color and design would look with the interior of the main room at Laguna Gloria (and I thought it would look great). But the best part was that it was utterly, utterly delicious. The frosting was so decadent. The cake itself was freshly baked and perfectly moist.

So many of our guests made a point of telling my husband, my mother, and me how much they loved the cakes, especially the bride's cake. In fact, the cakes were so good, no one really mentioned the dinner, which the caterer and I had spent a lot of time planning. Julie and Heike were delightful to work with. They made me two sample cakes when I first met with them, and when I asked her for a fork for "the road," Julie advised me to wait until I got home to relax and taste them. Well, I got to the exit to their parking lot before I had stuck my fingers into the sample bride's cake and was eating it out of my hand like a raccoon would. Delicious.

After the wedding, the groom and I took the six huge boxes of leftover food from dinner and gave them to a homeless man on a bench on S. Congress on our way back to our hotel, but we refused to share the cake. We took the top (which we were supposed to put in the freezer and save for a year, I think) of the cake into our honeymoon suite and ate half of it. With our hands. Classy, right?

What a waste of $65!!. As soon as I got home, the fondant bow was all cracked and falling apart. I called the bakery but it was closed. No wonder they had me come in at closing time to pick up the cake. As I picked up my cake, something did not seem right with the bow. But a lady by the name of Eloise said it was perfect. Stupid me took her word and since it was nicely wrapped in a box with saranwrap and tape, I didn't want to take it apart. Well I should have and maybe the problem would have been taken care of. Now I have to show up to my daughter's birthday party with a destroyed cake. Never again will I buy another cake from such place and I will make sure to let the word out.

Fantasy Cakes Location. The shop used to be hidden in a small strip mall way down Sam Bass.

Clients wrote in reviews the shop is hard to find. After several attempts to get the address corrected on City Search it still shows the wrong address. NEW ADDRESS: 1100 Sam Bass, STE 102, Round Rock.

The shop has moved and is now right off I35 on Sam Bass in the Sam Bass Market Center. Just over the train tracks heading West on Sam Bass. If you check the Fantasy Cakes profile on Bigdaysmallworld or Austinbirthdays you will find the correct address to map it. FC have their own guestbook on Fantasycakesroundrock as well. Enjoy their cakes, made with real eggs and baked fresh.

Best cakes in Texas. We don't normally recommend places but Fantasy Cakes really came through for us at our daughter's recent wedding. Their staff helped us so much and we just wanted to thank them publicly. The quality of the two cakes we ordered could not have been better! We highly recommend Fantasy Cakes if you want the very best.. We will not go anywhere else for our deserts.

Do not use fantasy cakes. I just recently found oyt that fantasy cakes is not owned by Robin and Shelby any more. It is under new owner ship. i highly recommend not using fantasy cakes. They are the rudest people you will ever meet they dont care about the customer at all. the cakes look horrible and the disgusting. The new owner is very rude herself and does not know how to run a business. You might as well go to a grocery store if you want that type of cake. I will never use fantasy cakes again. it is just not the same since Shelby and Robin left. And i would advise you to not it either. Why would you wanna spend a lot of money on something that look and taste bad and then have to put up with a bunch of rude people that act like they dont care what you want and act like it is a big deal if you want a original its what they are in business for..is to make the cakes that people want not just a cake that looks like its from a grocery store. I would highly advise not to use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great cakes-. This place does have great cakes. It is also prime time graduation and wedding season for them. I have ordered from Fantasy Cakes for many years and understand that is a very busy time for them. I called and could not get a cake either, but it was due to lack of prior planning on my part. Does not mean that it is a bad place, and I will go back.

As in everyday world, things change and in peak season of cakes, deadlines do also.

YAY...under new ownership!!! FABULOUS customer sevice...finally!!!. I refused to EVER go back to Fantasy Cakes. However, I got a little behind on my daughter's birthday and knew I could go into Fantasy w/a few days notice. I was dreading it. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by a young, sweet girl. She was so friendly. They are usually so rude, I couldn't stand it. I gave a picture of how I wanted the cake to look for my daughter's spa birthday party. It did have some fondant flowers and a bow. They typically would argue with me a little...no arguing today. When I went in to pick up my cake, I was so pleasantly surprised with the results. It looked JUST like the pic. It was beautiful. The lady that handed me the cake was so sweet. Now, keep in mind, it had been over a year and a half since I had been in Fantasy. So I asked the lady, "are you under new ownership?" Something just felt different about the whole atmosphere. She said yes, they were. They are also in a new really nice location. To top it off, the cake was WONERFUL!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them. We will be back for all of our cakes!!! Thanks Fantasy!!!

Fantastic cakes. Julie, the owner, requested a photo of the pirate ship birthday cake our granddaughter wanted. When

we picked up the cake, 3-14-08, it was exactly like the photo. The cake was chocolate and vanilla layers;

wonderfully moist, and the frosting was not too sweet. After the birthday party, only a tiny square was

left! We highly recommend Fantasy Cakes.
