Editorial Review for La Margarita – by Susan Kirr
In Short
This happening space has a large bar area and three dining rooms decorated with rustic wood floors, Mexican tile and shiny copper-topped tables. Leaded glass lamps and intricate iron chandeliers light up the space. The fiesta platter has bean and cheese nachos, jalapeno poppers stuffed with warm cream cheese, flautas, and quesadillas. Mexican white wings feature moist chicken tenders stuffed with a sliver of jalapeno, wrapped in bacon and marinated in spicy buffalo wing sauce.

I've been hearing for years that Baby A's was the place to go for great margaritas. I must say that I strongly disagree. La Margarita has THE BEST margaritas. I absolutely love them. Their food is also quite tasty. I have never had a bad meal there and we have gone quite often since we moved to Round Rock. This is also a great place for families and reasonably priced (so the family can afford it!).
Pros: Great food and drinks. Great for family dining.

First of all I don't see how anyone could give this well known local establishment a bad review. La Margarita is situated in a beautiful building complete with well decorated decor. The food is so good especially the Fajitas. Some of my other favorite dishes include the Chipolte Chicken which is simply divine, the Shrimp Diablo are yummy, and don't forget to try the flan for a complete meal. The Margaritas are really tasty and so are the Mexican Martinis. Now I know where the place gets its name.
Pros: everything!
Cons: n/a
