best in town for me. If you give this place a bad review you do not know about tex-mex. they are one of the best restaurants in town, yea you might get a new server and the service might not be great but 99% of the time is good food and good service. i dine in there weekly and cannot remember a bad meal or bad service. weekends are kinda of crazy due to them being so busy, so try to beat the crowd before 6pm.

Not worth a second visit. My wife and I were curious about the place simply by its flashy exterior. It seems that the owners have done a very good job catering to the majority of people that think that Mexican food is chips and watery salsa; or diluted cheese enchiladas. If you are looking for good Mexican food then should look elsewhere.

The restaurant is clean, and the hostess service amicable. Our waitress was poorly trained, and the waitress next to us actually rolled her eyes and called the customer a "B!tch" when she turned around. One thing I noticed was that most plates sat at most tables until customers left. As if that job was beneath the wait staff.

My two stars are a fair rating for marketing and getting people in the door, but once you are in you will be disappointed if you know what good service, good food, and good drinks are. Then again, you get what you pay for.

Horrible Hostesses. Pretty decent fajitas. The waiter was good when we finally got there. Hostesses originally stated a 45 minute wait. We checked with hostesses about 55 minutes into waiting. We were informed there were 2 more in front of us. However, after watching 10 tables get sat in the next 40 minutes we inquired again to find there were only 3 tables in front of us now. I don't know if the laws of mathematics were reversed and 3 is less than 2, but the hostesses seemed to believe that 3 is less than 2. Their excuse was that they accept call-ins, so you can obviously go in, ask for a table, then call in and get yourself sat before your original place in line. If that works for you, try it, otherwise don't waste your time. Complete lack of organization and professionalism.

This is our favorite!. My family has been eating at La Margarita for over 10 years now, since they were in the old ratty building! The service, quality of food and overall experience has always been fantastic. It's a great place for large gatherings, romatic dinners, lunch getaways from the office and even for takeout on those nights you just don't want to get dressed up to go out.

While you can't go wrong with selections like fajitas or enchiladas, if you're feeling more eager to try something new, definitely go with the Mexican Whitewings. Or perhaps try the chile relleno. Or the fish enchilada/taco plate. Whatever you try, you simply cannot go wrong.

For salad lovers, you can't get a better salad than the La Margarita Salad topped with your choice of grilled, smoked or batter fried chicken or, for beef lovers, beef fajita strips. While the grilled chicken and the beef fajitas are great, you simply can not go wrong with the sweet and juicy smoked chicken.

If after your main meal you still find room for more, you must try the skillet apple pie with the brandy caramel sauce and ice cream.

Basically, if you're in the mood for Mexican, this is THE place to get your fix.

Best Margaritas Around!. I've been hearing for years that Baby A's was the place to go for great margaritas. I must say that I strongly disagree. La Margarita has THE BEST margaritas. I absolutely love them.

Their food is also quite tasty. I have never had a bad meal there and we have gone quite often since we moved to Round Rock.

This is also a great place for families and reasonably priced (so the family can afford it!).

mmm. First of all I don't see how anyone could give this well known local establishment a bad review. La Margarita is situated in a beautiful building complete with well decorated decor. The food is so good especially the Fajitas. Some of my other favorite dishes include the Chipolte Chicken which is simply divine, the Shrimp Diablo are yummy, and don't forget to try the flan for a complete meal. The Margaritas are really tasty and so are the Mexican Martinis. Now I know where the place gets its name.

Blah! Food was not great, service was bad, atmosphere was below generic. We went here after seeing a line at the first place we wanted to go to. I guess we should have took that as a sign! My boyfriend ordered the spinach enchiladas and I kept it simple with a cheese and bean burrito. The rice was gummy and my burrito was flavorless. My boyfriend-who the least picky eater I know-took one bit of his enchiladas and quickly stopped mid-bite looking horrified. After waiting about 15 minutes for our waiter to come back he brought us our ticket and then disappeared again. If the place was busy we would understand but.....there was no reason for it. To add to it all the staff seemed to be comatose. We are never going back!

Best Tex-Mex in Town!. What a great place to eat or have happy hour. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is uplifting, and the service is prompt and friendly. Do yourself a favor and check it out! Don't forget to order the whitewings for your appetizer!
