GREAT chopped chicken sandwich. I am a picky eater and I am very pleased with the chicken sandwich they offer on Texas Toast and I am also a big fan of the green bean casserole. I have even used their catering food for Thanksgiving. Delicious meal and nice folks working there.

Real Texas barbecue served in a down-home atmosphere.. In Short
Red-checkered table cloths, country music playing in the background, and real wooden booths--can't get much more Texas than that. Pok-e-Jo's serves up smoky-flavored barbecue that keeps the carnivores coming back again and again. The chicken, either half or a quarter, is crispy on the outside and simply amazing with the special Pok-e-Jo's hot sauce. Best of all, the lunch special--your choice of meat with two sides--is available for dinner as well.

Can anybody say FRIED OKRA?. If you truly love bar-b-que and you are from the south...you've gotta love Pok-E-Jo's crispy fried okra. Talk about mouth watering. I used to get an order before my games at the original Pok-E-Jo's by Balcones Little League. I grew up, and now I can't get enough of their homemade sausage and their brisket. They even bottle their own sauce now! Add to that their baked potato casserole, banana pudding, and cobblers, and...wow....I sure am hungry now...gotta run. See you at Pok-E-Jo's.

now they have 5 stores. If you get to have 5 store and it took 25 year to do it you must be doing it right. Great bbq at a good price and all over town

Best BBQ for ur $$$!!!. I recently lived in Round Rock and couldn't get enough of Pok-e-Jo's BBQ Sandwiches..... They are AWESOME!!!!!

Hard to find, but worth the search. Of all the Pok-e-jo's in town, the 5th street store is the least accessable but well worth the time to visit

It is also the better ot the 4 soon to be 5 stores in town.

The rustic atmosphere is more of an old time BBQ house than the others, and no one, not even the compitetion can offer the choice of the indoor or outdoor party facilities.

Where else can your group eat great bbq and play volleyball.

It is fantastic, and the two managers, Sam and 'Big E' make it like a stage production..these guys are FUNNY !!
