Best steak I've ever had.. Maybe I haven't eaten a lot of steaks in my life, but this place has the best steak anywhere. I never realized steak could taste so good. Definitely very pricey, but it's well worth it. I can't ever eat another steak without comparing it to Ruth's Chris. Highly recommended.

Service, consistancy, quality overall great experience. I've eaten at Ruth's Chris steakhouse at several locations and all are good. However my experience at the Austin Texas location has always been outstanding.......From the friendly Texas Greeting to the "Thank y'all" for dining with us by the owner make this a must do and do often Steak house for us.

Nothing Special. We don't mind paying more for a great meal. Heard this was the place for a good steak, so we went to celebrate my husband's birthday. He wanted to go to Gumbos for steak, but I convinced him to try something new. The food was way over priced, great service and atmosphere. Don't go here for a special occasion, it's not a special place. The steak was only average.

Great place to Celebrate. I took my husband there recently to celebrate passing his FAA flight exam. I placed a reservation online ahead of time and put a note as to why we where coming here to celebrate. The waitstaff was so attentive I didnt know what to do, it was totally unusual to me. Our waiter answered all of our questions and made sure my husband never had an empty glass of coke. As we prepaired to leave, they offered us desert, which we always pass on. That is when they told my husband that to celebrate his passing he would get one on the house. No other restaurant that I have been to for a special occasion has done any such thing. While the food is expensive, you will NOT be disapointed. Highly recommend to all who LOVE a great steak.

GREAT TEXAS BEEF. We had a great time and the steak was delicious. Our server was attentive and the location was very convienent to downtown. I only feel that a lovely sauce to accommodate such a nice piece of beef would be welcomed, other than that it was exciting, busy, and I would reccommend dining here.

Ruth's Chris. Great place to celebrate an anniversary. The staff was incredible. They kept wishing my wife and I a happy anniversary. Food was good except for the garlic mashed potatoes. Had better. Steak very tastey. Would have to say it is overpriced, but still a great place to go on special occassions.

Take Out A Loan To Eat Here. I love steak! But Ruth Chris's is not the place to eat it. While the steak was large, there was tons of fat on it. My main complaint is the value. You pay twice the amount to get a steak than any other steakhouse in Austin, and you still get less to eat. This is because everything that goes with it is a la cart. That's right, you pay extra. So, if you want to get a great steak and side dishes included, then visit one of Austin's other fine steakhouses. You wont be disappointed with them. Because if you dine at Ruth's, then you will need to take alot of cash or up your credit limit.

So-So for the Expectations. Pricey and the steak was just par for the course. Was a little overdone. I ordered Medium and received Medium-Well...

It seemed unsatisfiying for the price. Sides are separate and add up quickly.

Good Service Good Food. Any steak you order is worth the trip alone. The service is probally the best I have ever had in Austin and the staff is very, very cordial.

Yall are wrong. I highly disagree with Ruth's Chris Steakhouse ratings. I think that they should have been higher on the list. I can vouche for many people when I say that "Ruth's Chris Steakhouse has the best steaks in Austin".
