Best pizza place in Austin.. For sure the best tasting pizza in Austin and the buffer is awesome. I always go there to watch sports because they have big screen tvs. The salad bar is also a plus. No other pizza buffer comes close. Did i mention free icee????? Best pizza place in Austin by far.
worst pizza anywhere.. This chain (not this particular location) is horrid. They have no idea how to make pizza. its worse than domino's on a bad day, and pizza hut on a worse day. and those two are terrible. Here are some good austin pizza places: frank and angies (downtown), homeslice on Congress, and rounders. If you think gatti's is good - then you probably have never eaten pizza outside of texas. I have eaten pizza all over the world, NYC is usually the best, the north east is all good, Chicago is great. bad pizza in southeast some, and some bad in midwest... but even Chinese pizza in Kunming, China is better than this. Please dont eat here.
Sixth Street pizza stand provides drive-through and delivery pizza options..
In Short
Although they do most of their business in delivery, use the drive-through and pick up a call-in order. They offer 10-inch small, 12-inch medium, 14-inch large and 16-inch extra large pizzas with either deep dish or regular crusts. Bread sticks, with or without cheese are available on the side. The pizzas' smoked provolone cheese keeps the slightly sour sauce from overriding basic toppings like Canadian bacon and pineapple.
Awful pizza. Coming from Chicago, I know pizza... And this ain't it. Try Mangia, Brooklyn Pie company, or even Pizza Hut's better than this...
Nasty Nasty Pizza!.
This was the worst pizza I have ever had! It smelled bad from the second we opened the box, the kids didn't even like it!
I've never been inside Gatti's so I don't have an opionion on the place it self but YUCK to the pizza. Don't eat it!
