Editorial Review for Saba Blue Water Cafe – by Susan Kirr
In Short
This long, narrow space has weathered oak planks on the floor, exposed wood beams on the ceiling and coarse brick walls. A bar near the front serves as a focal point and seating is either at black booths or blond-wood chairs set up against stark stainless-steel tables. The masa-fried oyster tostadas show a colorful presentation. Plantain-crusted shrimp is dusted in ground plantain chips and deep-fried. Tres leches is sponge cake in caramelized milk and cajeta.

Just had the new scallops on the menu at saba. great butter sauce, high quality...I would recommend to anyone. After being around for so long, they sure take a while to put out new stuff. The reward is that it is always great!
