GREATEST BURGER JOINT IN THE ATX. OK SERIOUSLY! PLAYER'S IS THE BEST BURGER JOINT IN AUSTIN, TX. MY FAMILY THINKS IT EVEN BEATS DAN'S HAMBURGERS. PLAYER'S STAYS OPEN TILL 3:00 AM AND IT'S ALWAYS FAST, HOT AND DELICIOUS :P THEY HAVE THE BOMB A** MALTS THAT WILL LEAVE YOU ASKIN FOR MORE. HEY PARTY PEOPLE...... IF YOUR LOOKIN FOR A HOT SPOT TO EAT AFTER PARTYING HARD ON 6TH STREET THEN PLAYER'S IS THE PLACE TO CHOW DOWN.

I became a citysearch member to write about players.. Yes. That is right. After 13 years in austin I finally write an opinion about a restaurant on citysearch. Player's is getting all 5 stars. I've been going there since the mid 90's and nothing can compare. The absolute best hamburger in austin. Don't forget to order a side fried okra or fried 'shroms. Thank me later.

I love em'. I really love the burgers and fries. I love the ice machine b/c it's the crushed ice that i love. I wasn't a fan of the shakes. I've had better. But definately i recommend this burger joint.

Players is greaT!. WHAT? completely disregard the post before mine, players is awesome. The burgers are huge and are made of REAL MEAT! Fast food like jack in the box use the lowest quality meat on the market, how can you even compare them!?!? the prices are decent, about 5-6$ for a filling meal. The chicken fried steak sandwich is also really good, and cheaper even. $5.50 or so for a large drink, fries, and sandwich.

Pretty okay... I guess. I don't understand why so many people rave about Player's; it's completely average. The burgers are just okay, as are the fries. It's maybe a little overpriced for what you get (I prefer Jack in the Box, since it's cheaper and better) but yeah, average. The shakes are NOT good, they're below average, I would say. I also wouldn't order anything other than a burger there, as I've found everything else to be pretty gross.

So Good. These are the best burgers I have ever eaten at a fast food place. I hate McDonalds and Burger King. Those places are so nasty. This is the only place I'll go to get a burger. They're huge and made AFTER you order them. It's a great place to go eat, drink beer, and watch sports.

not great. Players has decent milkshakes and fries but in the many times that I've been there, I've never been impressed by the burgers. The only reason this place does stout business is its proximity to the UT campus.

The Player Quality. If you want to hear Happy Birthday sung to you by the employees to the bangs on the huge steel boiling pot and cheering of the customer crowd, it's definitely the place to bring your friends for a birthday celebration!

Good, but nowhere the best. Theyre have good burgers, but usually only good after a few drinks.
