An open kitchen faces the main dining area, where patrons can start the meal off with a house salad, or share enormous pizzas elevated on stands. Checked tablecloths set the mood; a hanging chalkboard announces daily two-for-one specials. Coveted pizza toppings include roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts and cilantro pesto. "Angie's Combo" features provolone, roasted garlic, eggplant and sun-dried tomato. There is also a cheese-less pie and a few standard pastas.

Cute little place with a good rep. Went there to check it out and there were so many options. I played it safe with chicken parm and my husband had a pizza. Boy it was good stuff. Staff was slow and spacey though.

Went here on a friend's recommendation for the calzones and... yea... they are the shiznit. I haven't tried anything else, but by the looks and smell of it I wouldn't be suprised if everything else on the menu is dank.

Hey. truth be told, Austin is not a great pizza town but Frank and Angie's has pretty good pie. And the lasagna is really good. All of the pasta is good too. I guess it's just a good downtown Italian joint. Jumpin' and lunch time, and that is always a good sign.
