Great Pizza. Amazing pizza place. A must place for having pizzeria.
Two Thumbs Up. Roppolo's Pizzeria's waiting service is kind and humble.
Good Pizza but Poor service.
Be forewarned, I am a pizza snob.
Went there for lunch today at about 11:30. went to the window for service - no one around. I waited a while, still no one, so I go into the restaurant and someone from the back comes out. I order a slice of veggie pizza with whole wheat crust. Cost $4.75. I hand him a $5 bill. No change. Interesting.
Now on to the pizza.
The whole wheat crust was the right chewy consistency but it tasted yeasty. I had peppers, onions, artichoke and cheese toppings. They were good. I will try tem again to see if the yeasty taste was a fluke.
If I'm served by the same guy, I will pay with exact change.…
Roppolos, Best Pizza in Austin. Two thumbs up. Roppolo's pizza made my day. After a meeting in downtown I stopped to get a quick slice, I was famished. I encountered the most delicious pizza since New York. And on top of that an Oasis of tranquility in the 3 deck patio in the back of the building. I devoured my slice, had a beer and watched TV on the second deck. It was a WOW experience. Can't wait to go back.…
Avoid This place. When you enter roppolos pizzeria, you will be generously greeted with at least 7 signs and buckets that tell you to tipt the "hard working staff." The amazing roppolo dining experience continues with cold, black burnt pizza, and the most disgusting flavorless crust ever concieved. In addition, the meat on the pizza is channeling essence of cat with its incredibly foul taste(I wouldn't put it past them.) Oh and remember to tip the cashier. We gave her 15 percent and she snorted angrily at the "miniscule" tip. Lets think about this. A waiter may wait on a person for an hour and receive only 15 percent. All this girl did was stick the cold pizza in the oven and hand it to me, and she wants more than 15 percent! Also, she's done checking out a customer in about 2 min. at the most, which gives her a much higher turn over than a waiter. If we have to tip her for performing this simple duty, then we should start tipping cashiers at grocery stores for scanning our groceries! By the way a waiter only makes about $2 an hour, the employees at the wonderful roppolos get a base wage. In conclusion, If you enjoy essence of cat, terrible crust, tipping a cashier for taking your money, and just plain bad pizza come to roppolos.…
