Passing Through. I was passing through and visiting a friend. He decided to take me there for a drink and it was a wonderful experience. Laid back atmosphere, good drinks, and had a very handsome bartender named Ryan. (Unless I am mistaken!) Everyone was so nice there and always made sure our drinks were fresh. Kudos to the hiring of the staff as well as the setting of the bar. It was very good. Next time I am in town, I plan on visiting again. And who knows? Maybe the same staff will be there.

this place is underutilized. What a great bar. Im somewhat new to Austin and Ive been to the 'other' bars once or twice, but on discovering this place, Ive been out more than I ever have since Ive been in Ausin. What a breath of fresh air the cockpit is. The name is the only thing I would change about this place. I could easily fit in with the RAIN crowd. I dont want to, I mush prefer the real people at the cockpit.

worth the trip. this place a diamond in the rough!the bartenders are so sweet and the dancers are to.awesome dance floor good music and just a great atmosphere.most gay clubs are kinda intense with the snobby wannabes, but not this place everyone is super sweet.

Hot Guys in the City. Dicks has some of the friendliest guys - especially the strippers. You can get up close and personal. Hi Rick!

Get Here!. I used to be afraid of DICK'S but I have no reason to be...Thursday night there are doller and a quarter well drinks (with no cover) and the music of FILTHY RICH (Austin's BEST D.J.) and everyone should be here. This is a really fun club with a HUGE dance floor, an outdoor patio, and some hot bartenders and DJs...get here!

DJ Mecca. All I can say is if you have not heard DJLD (aka Lil Debbie) then you don't know what you are missing. This DJ veteren can still run circles around the best best DJ's out there. He is truly underrated and if you are into tight DJ mixes you must visit Dick's on a Friday night! He is better than any circuit DJ out there.

Sunday nights with Matt!. Matt spins 80s tunes on Sunday night; he's awesome. Not just the same old retro crap (if I hear "Melt with You" one more time...); and he takes requests, too!
