jazz bar. I found the meal expensive but very good. It was worth it to hear the great jazz duo that played! Both the stand up bass player and the piano man were superb musicians. I would go back week after week if I lived in Austin. A must hear if you like jazz.

Popular Warehouse District club offering the finest in jazz.. In Short
Head next door to the swanky steakhouse Sullivan's and find an upscale jazz venue and martini bar. The room is done up with dark wood paneling and marble floors, and the stage is set back up in the corner above the bar. Local jazz luminaries Hank Hehmsoth, Elias Haslanger and Tony Campise are regular performers so get into your best threads, grab your cigars and head on down for a cocktail and some smooth sounds.

Bring your credit card!. Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere ... but you're going to pay for it! Sullivan's is a lot of fun if you're looking for something a little less frantic than the typical Saturday night bar scene. This is a place where you can sit back, relax, listen to the pleasant but unintrusive live jazz, and carry on a conversation with your friends or date at the same time. The service was friendly and helpful, and the desserts are fantastic. But, keep in mind, all good things come with a price, and Sullivans is no exception.

go for the drinks. Save your money, you can get a better steak at Kroger's. My wife and I both ordered the 12oz. strip, what we got was 12 oz. of gristle. I ordered mine medium well and the edible part of the steak was just OK. My wife ordered hers medium rare, the center was cold...as in from the refrigerator cold. The wait staff however was very attentive and helpful however. I had a martini straight-up and my wife got the house seciality the "Knockout". Both drinks were excellent. $85.00 got us two lousy steaks, two great drinks, two salads and one order of aspargus to split. Not a good value for the money.
