The Lucky Lounge is one of Austin's most popular neighborhood bars, located in the heart of the Warehouse District. The warm neon signs lead you to the glowing blue bar, which is surrounded by 60's modern furnishings and a one-of-a-kind raised back bar that makes crowd watching so interesting. The crowd you'll find is as diverse as Austin. Music/film industry people, high-tech and service industry folks, to all the weekend out of towners. They all come to relax and unwind in this unique little joint, where the staff is known for their expertise and friendliness and the cocktails are always refreshing and inexplicably fast.

The neon sign announcing the entrance beckons and foreshadows the mod '60s design of the interior. The bar glows blue in the center of the room, its raised back a prime perch for customers watching the crowd. Retro light fixtures transform one brick wall into a work of art while another is consumed by a lustrous, giant ginger orb. A constant influx of hip, mature singles flock for happy hour and live music.

Lucky Lounge is a small venue located in Austin warehouse distric. Great place to go out and have a great time. This always one of my favorite stops when I'm out on the town.

This is a more trendy bar than I usually go to. But I did enjoy it. My friends and I were downtown when we decided to go there. I thought it was just do the road. Boy was I wrong. That is pretty much the only thing that I didn't like about this place. I may go back, but the next time, I will get a ride!

Lucky Lounge is always a good time regardless of the time or year, weather, or whatever events they may have going on. Resonable drink prices considering the location with a friendly staff and bar lay out. Always a great place to start and end your nite.

Know Before You Go:
To fully appreciate the artsy feel of the lounge, come earlier in the evening. Enjoy local musicians playing most nights beginning around 8pm.
Where to Sit:
If the craziness of the bar area gets to you, escape to the cozy, lesser-known upstairs area.
Save Money:
Don't pay to park. Head to the state parking garage at Fourth and San Antonio. After 6pm it's free to the public, and it's only two blocks away.
