Best Shopping Experience in a Long Long Time!!. The best customer service experience I've had in a long time!

I visited the store, during a weekend trip to Austin, and was very impressed by the array of merchandise and the energy of the store. Following my visit I returned to my hometown of Boston.

Later, I decided to purchase a picture as a gift for a friend online. The transaction went smoothly and Melisa was very helpful and patient describing the piece and various details, shipping specification etc. However, once I received the piece it wasn’t as I had expected it would be.

Shelly and Melisa, surpassed my expectations in customer services by being very responsive, to my emails and phone calls, and assuring me that they would assist me in whatever manner possible to rectify the situation to my liking. I know both put a lot of time and effort into helping me and I greatly appreciate all the time, and effort it took. It was the height of professionalism. It’s easy to see they take pride in their store, the artist they work with and value the experience of their customers.

Thanks to Wild About Music for reminding me how good a long distance shopping experience can be!

Over the 13 years we have operated our single Austin store, we have had the privilege of working with hundreds of artists and vendors from all over the world. We have always prided ourselves on great relationships with every artist, treating each individual with professionalism and respect, and paying them promptly and fully for their sales. To our knowledge we have NEVER ended an artist relationship on a sour note and are quite happy to obtain what we believe would be a positive recommendation from ANY artist who has ever worked with us. So it is difficult to understand who this unhappy and unidentified person might be, but certainly encourage them to contact us directly to discuss their issues. obnoxious business owner. This store has shrewd business owners with a certain distaste for the artist but with an insatiable pallet for what they can get from them. They are like the Walmart of the music industry, just not as big. I'll admit they have some cool stuff, but I thinks it's criminal how they operate.

This space sells more than 1,500 music-themed items for music lovers and the gift-givers who love them.. In Short
Ninety-plus visual artists (local, national and international) contribute to Wild About Music; genres include sculptures, prints, paintings and photography.
Find original photos of Billie Holiday, Lena Horne and others, plus other original art from $100 and up. A range of assorted smaller gifts includes keychains, barrettes, jewelry and candle holders, plus Austin City Limits merchandise. Of course, there are gift sections devoted to Elvis and the Beatles, each containing tchotchkes such as magnets, cookie jars and mugs.
