Best Credit Union Ever. I don't know what the other reviewers problem is with Velocity or its website, but I have never had any problems with the website or the, heaven forfend, "Actual People That Work There", you know, when you leave your house and go to a place to do business? When you, like need a loan or something that requires them to verify that you are in fact, a real person, and not some malware program or even just... someone other than you.

Customer service has always been great, both in person at the Braker Lane and Downtown branch, and when I have called customer service with questions about the website.

Bonus for me is that they're (a) not a bank (b) very supportive of the local glbto community. I have been a very happy customer for longer than they have been named "Velocity Credit Union".

I wish I could give them zero stars. This is the worst bank ever. THE WORST. BANK. EVER. I hate them SO MUCH. First of all, their online banking was designed by cavemen, FOR cavemen. Everything about them screams IDIOCY. You need to use fax and snail mail to get online access - 4 weeks later I'm finally ready to use it -- IT DOESN'T WORK. Why? HOW THE $@^! SHOULD I KNOW? So I call (another archaic info delivery method) and... THEY'RE CLOSED. It's 5:05, people! Account numbers: Some have zeros after them, some have letters after them - oh but it's ALL THE SAME ACCOUNT. So now I don't know if something isn't working because it's not working or because I just have the wrong account number syntax. I HATE YOU VELOCITY DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE ROT IN HELL

Worst banking experience ever. Honestly, I don't take time out of my day to complain. But, I'm moving banks. I just got off the phone with one of the rudest people i've ever spoken to that has my business. I'll be switching all of my funds to chase now. They also have terrible rates, probably because they have to pay for this super nice buildings with hardly any clients. Don't let the "credit union" part get to you... any joe can setup a crappy account with them.... Go for it.
