Love this Place

Had the best experience. Catena's is clean and organized and they really listen to what you want. I would fully recommend to anyone. At first I was tentative, because a friend of mine said she did not have a great experience. But later I confirmed she was not sure who helped her. I had the best time and it's well worth trying this place out.

Amazing!

I live in DC. Two days before my Godson's wedding in Austin (and 4 months after I had confirmed the appointment), the salon I had booked called to cancel. They recommended Catena's -- and I am SO GLAD they did! I was literally calling them on my cellphone while changing planes and they could NOT have been more helpful! My sister-in-law and I arrived not too long before closing on a Saturday and they did our hair and nails with courtesy and good humor -- and we looked great!! Thank you, Catena's!! Everyone was wonderful. Love this salon. If there were 6 stars (or 10) we would give them.

So happy to be back!!!

I just returned to Catena's today after about a two year break. Everyone there has always been extremely nice and professional but I decided to find another person due to my crazy schedule. I tried to find someone compatible to Mary Ann but it was impossible. I bounced around searching for the perfect hairdresser, hitting the salons at the mall for convenience and going to the Ulta stores only to be disappointed.

You are pampered from the time you walk in the door, Mary Ann listens and provides recommendations based on your hair type, shape of your face and how much time you are willing to commit to your hair on a daily basis. She is excellent with hair color and keeps current on the latest fashions.

Do yourself a favor and give them a try. Your only regret is that you didn't find them sooner.

So happy to be back and I will NEVER stray again!!!!

Wish I'd found it sooner!

Just got an amazing cut and color with Jen. She was great and the haircut was very precisely orchestrated. Catena's is right by campus; a close walk away for UT students and has a private parking lot for those with cars (since parking in Austin can be hard to come by). My only regret is not finding this place sooner!

Great Salon!

I decided out of the blue to cut my hair short, but didn't have a regular stylist. I work close to Catena's so I decided to walk over and ask if they had an appointment later that day. They did and Jennifer was my stylist. My friends were surprised I would let a stylist I wasn't familiar with make such a drastic change to my hair, but I love it! She was fun and did a great job. I will definitely be going back for all my other hair care needs!
