At LAST! I have an artist not just a stylist!

I was new to this salon and choose to go there after reading the great reviews on the internet. I called for an appointment on Sat. morning and was scheduled within hours with the stylist I had chosen from the reviews-- Bill. He was great! He was professional, relaxed, just the right amount of interaction while he cut my hair...all just perfect! I had chosen a new cut from a magazine, and he cut it exactly...and the blonde highlights he selected is the best ever. I have been looking for a stylist exactly like Bill. I hope he never leaves Austin! And to make it even better, the salon's manager was welcoming, the environment relaxed, and makes me look forward to returning. I had gotten so tired of going to disappointing stylist and salon's that I had stopped going for about 9 months. It was my husband who asked me to try to find someone before the holidays... and he absolutely loves the way Bill did my hair! I do too and will make this salon my new "home". I will recommend Bill and Catena's to everyone. ( I kinda hate to tell how great Bill is because it may then take weeks for me to get in due to his successes. ) Its a wonderful place. CC

Excellent Hair Care, Excellent Prices

I went to Catena's after looking up and researching the area salons trying to see what it would take to get a decent perm at a decent price. I read the reviews on City Search and thought that I would give them a try.

Bill was my stylist, and believe me folks, he has the patience of a saint. He was able to do my long fine hair and give it a spiral perm for $150.00. And I didn't have alot of broken split ends afterwards. He was polite as were all the other people who work there. I almost feel guilty about the measly $20.00 tip I gave him.

The building that the salon is in is kind of a cross between an old Christmas gingerbread house and a victorian cottage. Beautiful place.

Catena's is my permanent hair place. :) Thank you Bill, and thank you, those of you who also work there and that made my visit so enjoyable. :)

Great Salon.

Just had to let you know what a great stylist Amado is.

My daughter recently decided to donate her hair to "locks of love". Since her stylist was not available, we googled other Austin salons and chose Catena.

Great experience!

Her hair looks fantastic. I decided to get my hair cut for my B'day, and again he did a terrific job.

Great service all round.

Thanks for making us look fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!
