Had the worst experience with Julie. Let me first mention that I had a Groupon, in case this was the reason for my inexplicably bad experience at Aziz. The place lacked a spa-feel to it and seemed fairly mediocre in its ambience, but that's not really what bothered me the most. I got a facial done by Julie yesterday. The facial itself wasn't the most relaxing experience as the extractions and the pomegranate peel she used were quite painful/irritating on my skin. I did mention to her that my skin was sensitive, but that didn't do anything to make her change her course of action. I wouldn't have gone back for the same facial, but I also wasn't disappointed enough to write a bad review.

It's the aftermath of the facial that was traumatic. Right after the facial, my otherwise clear skin was red and blotchy and had several red spots. Julie told me they would go away by the next morning. They didn't, and the spots have now turned brown. My skin looks visibly worse than it has ever been. I called up the salon today, they spoke with Julie and I was asked to come pick up a sample for a soothing balm that could help with the healing and perhaps see Julie. I went there at 7:45pm today (Friday) after school, and had to wait for an unacceptable 35 minutes before I got the sample! I was told Julie had the sample with her, and she was with a client. I was told multiple times that she would be out in a couple of minutes. I kept waiting as I really needed to have her see my face and get an opinion. She came out at 8:20, said something to the receptionist (who incidentally, was very helpful and patient throughout my wait) about the sample and was told that I was here. She didn't even turn back to acknowledge my presence and walked back in. The receptionist came out with the sample. And that was that!

So I am now left with weird looking skin that I am really hoping will heal soon, and the memory of a particularly unprofessional conduct by an Aziz employee. The sample should have been left at the the front desk for me since Julie had known I would be coming in to pick it up. And having made me wait all this while, she should have had the simple courtesy to acknowledge my presence and been curious/concerned about what her facial did to my skin.

THE BEST SALON & DAY SPA IN AUSTIN. I moved here from Northern California back in September and I thought I would never find a good hair salon but Aziz came to my rescue. I finally found a place that I love. Pamela my hair stylist is the absolutely BEST in the business. My hair is so healthy and finally growing. If you are looking for a place where your stylist work with you to achieve the results that you want than you need to come to AZIZ. It's the ONLY place where you will find the best hair stylists, the hippest group of young talents with a load of experience to make you look FABULOUS every time.

First experience was worthwhile. I had a gift certificate to Aziz and though I have a stylist in S Austin that I've been going to for 7 years, I thought I use this opportunity to try someone new. Making my appointment was easy and the girls at the front desk were helpful in explaining the different programs and creating a routine that fit my needs. I had a manicure and pedicure by Samantha. She's very pleasant and did a great job, especially considering the shape my cuticles were in! She introduced me to Carlo, who was assitgned my stylist. Within just barely a minute he provided insight on my current style and his recommendations for something more updated. I instantly liked and trusted him. Then it only got better when I actually sat in his chair and he worked his magic. Within 40 minutes I had a better shaped and more stylis cut - I felt and looked great!!!

I already told friends and colleagues about my experience at Aziz, and I'm scheduled to see Carlo again for a follow-up cut and style. Looking forward to it!

Great place for eyelash extensions. I have been wanting to get eyelash extensions for a while now, but it is very expensive. Aziz had a great promotion and I decided to give it a try. Ana was great! She showed confidence and made me feel comfortable. She was able to create long lashes on me, which was difficult because I have short and very few of them. I will be back in a few weeks for refills.

A retreat worth returning to. I just moved back to Austin and had purchased a Groupon for this spa. Having purchased several Groupons for other spas and gotten less than stellar service, I was a little hesitant but Aziz and its staff blew me away. It was absolute heaven from the time I walked in the door.

Love the Salon and Day spa Feel!. Recenently my stylist Pamala moved to Aziz Salon full time. I am so excited. I really love the attention to the clients needs. The staff is detailed and trained in customer service. from providing favorite beverages, text appointment reminders to the quiet and sereen atmosphere that allows you to feel pampered and relaxed. Oh and Pamala is Awesome! She has been my stylist for over 10 years and I'll follow where ever she goes!

Great treatment and a great time!. Amazing salon! Holly is the greatest! Wonderful styling, treatment and a great time! The staff are warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is cozy and wonderful! It feels good to be taken care of! :)

Aziz Rocks!. I have a hard time finding a hair stylist who doesn't chop my hair off or make me tear up after a session. Clarissa at Aziz is one of the rare few that has done what I asked with my hair. She has a passion and talent for doing hair. She asks all the right questions, listens, and gives advice that truly helps. since I've been going to her, my hair has taken on a whole new, healthy, sexy look.

Great Aesthetician!!. I went to Aziz for a facial last Saturday. My Aesthetician was Brandi, and she rocked! I can't say I have ever had a facial that thorough. She was very informative about the products and skincare in general. I also loved her personality, which is always a plus in my book! I will definitely be back to see her as often as possible! My skin is still glowing......
