My Favorite Doctor. I was suffering for a long time with varicose veins and I was confused about treatments, which one would be the best for me, which doctor to see. My girlfriend recommended Dr. Zimmet and I am really glad she did. He has helped me more than he knows. I needed to have an ambulatory phlebectomy procedure. It was on his advice and I trusted him. I have to say I was worried I'd have to undergo a big surgical ordeal, but it wasn't the case at all. It was simple and not very uncomfortable. Most important, it was successful! My vein problem is resolved and I feel better than I've felt in a long time. Dr. Zimmet took a lot of time with me and explained everything probably twice. He was patient to say the least. His nurse is amazing and very attentive. Eveyone in his office was most helpful and polite. A big thanks to Dr. Zimmet for my painfree life.

Zimmet vein and Dermatology. Since my mom had recently become a patient of Dr. Zimmet's for vericose veins, English is ours second language I have need to write this review. I accompanied her to her appoitment to translate for her, Dr. Zimmet was so wonderful communicating to her and me about everything he was doing and finding about her veins, he has taken his time with us, he was so patient with all of our questions and took so much time throughly explaining everything to us. My mom and I have had very opposite expericences with other doctors here in Austin. My mom needed a surgery called Endocenous Laser Ablation, my mom was scared to death about the whole deal, she is scared of a little needle, my whole family was nervous about how this surgery would go, and I have to say that Dr. Zimmet and his staff were the best in allevating her fears and making her feel totally relaxed and comfortable before, during and after her surgery. We have hears all kinds of things out there, and the doctors that we went before told us about stripping her weins and doing it under the general, in the hospital, few days of recovery, and things like that, we are so happy we went to Dr. Zimmet for the second opinion, so happy that my mother had EVLT, so happy that we found Dr. Zimmet. She was up and walking on a treadmill right after the surgery, she was up and walking that afternoon, she was back at work the next day. We highly recommend this doctor and his staff! Best doctor in Town!!!

First Class Experience Each Visit. Dr. Zimmet has been my dermatologist for the past decade. I've had so many different treatments there including Intense Pulse Light, Facials, Laser Hair Removal and most recently a skin tightening treatment called EndyMed. With Dr. Zimmet's extensive background I wouldn't trust anybody else with treating me. He is always patient, respectful and answers my questions thoroughly. I feel he would not recommend any treatment unless he thought it would truly benefit me. With all the treatments out there it can be confusing at times. Now I bring my teenage son to see him because he suffers from acne. Dr. Zimmet recommended BLU U Light and we are seeing some encouraging results. My son says the 3 aestheticians and nurse are AWESOME! They have given skin care advice to him and he is actually following their advice! He does not always do that for me being a teenager! Over the years I have noticed that the same people work there and to me that indicates a happy place. I highly recommend this practice to everybody who is looking for a dermatologist who provides trustworthy quality care.

Terrible, won't go back or recommend. Terrible. The woman on the phone was rude. When I got there she continued to be rude. The feeling in the office was so uncomfortable. I tried to make small talk with Dr. Zimmet, to no avail. The only pleasant person was his assistant. I will not go back. Will not recommend to friends.
