In Short – The leader in promoting Mexican contemporary art in Austin, MEXIC-ARTE has a lovely permanent collection of art and photographs. In addition to visiting exhibits by internationally known artists, the permanent collection features 20th-century Mexican art, photographs from the Mexican Revolution and masks from the Mexican state of Guerrero. It also has a gift shop with an excellent selection of Mexican and Latin American artwork and crafts, as well as a good selection of books.
