Dan's Customer Service Sucks At This Location.
The burgers here are OK but Whataburger tastes just as good and is cheaper and has way better service. Thumbs down on the service at this location at 844 Airport. I tried to use my credit card and their machine wouldn't take it. The cashier who was also the manager made no effort to try it on another machine saying if it didn't work on one then it wouldn't work on the other. They had no way to do a manual key in. I used my card earlier and knew if was fine. Funny that they had an ATM machine in their restuarant that worked just fine but charged you $2.75 to withdraw money. The restaurant must get a cut from the ATM vendor for directing people to use it. The manager, an older gentleman, made no apologies for their substandard machine not working well and acted like a jerk. Apparently they have more business than they can handle and don't care about customer service. On a differerent note, some of the other wait staff were friendly. Go to Whataburger where their machines work fine and give better service because they have managers that care about the customer experience.

Old-fashioned, greasy, fried-on-the-grill burgers in a no-frills setting..
In Short
This rough-around-the-edges burger-joint has been Austin owned and operated since its inception. Order at the counter, just like in the days of old. Those with droopy eyes and pounding heads opt for a greasy, hangover-fixin' breakfast of fried eggs, hash browns and salty sausage. Pancakes, cheesy omelettes and breakfast tacos are some other early morning favorites. Then there's the basics: Burgers, fries and thinly sliced onion rings, all washed down with thick chocolate shakes.
