Editorial Review for Juan in a Million – by Kat Taylor
In Short
Booths line walls where authentic Mexican paintings hang next to the tiles. A relaxed crowd that's sick of 30-minute waits at trendier Mexican diners crams into two rooms packed with seating. While free chips and salsa are served with every entree, the chili queso is an appetizer must. Most entrees are served with a side of charro beans on weekdays and refried beans on weekends. The chicken flautas are covered with guacamole and sour cream.

Took the whole family here and really enjoyed it. Coffee was even great instead of that horribly strong coffee many other places serve. The Don Juan is so massive and at only $3.25 I swear it serves 3 people. Extra tortillas are only .15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The people there are so very nice, we will return undoubtably. No air conditioning in the bathrooms (UGH!), and a concern I had was each bathroom/gender shares the sink, so be sure to escort your children to the bathroom. I know my daughter would be freaked out if a man was standing there washing their hands.
Pros: Food, coffee, service, value
Cons: Location a little sketchy, crowded tables has you rubbing elbows

You couldn't find a better, bigger, faster, tastier taco than at Juan in a Million. This place is such a gem. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends, and I'm sure you can imagine why. It's where authentic breakfast tacos meet hipster east austin, and it's a keeper for sure!
Pros: CHEAP!! TASTY! Quick, super friendly (u meet Juan!) loads of seating
Cons: none!
