Diners are instantly captivated by the no-nonsense decor, the comforting bustle, and the warm greeting of its owner, Juan Meza. Family owned and operated since 1981, Austinites flock to Juan in a Million for the Don Juan (a gargantuan taco stuffed with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and cheese), enchiladas, and fajitas.
A party room is even available for any special occasion. Juan in a Million can accommodate a party from 20 to 200 individuals, indoor or outdoor. Booths line walls where authentic Mexican paintings hang next to the tiles. A relaxed crowd that's sick of 30-minute waits at trendier Mexican diners crams into two rooms packed with seating. While free chips and salsa are served with every entree, the chili queso is an appetizer must. Most entrees are served with a side of charro beans on weekdays and refried beans on weekends. The chicken flautas are covered with guacamole and sour cream.

Real hole in the wall type of place that gets PACKED. Not so surprising, the food is excellent. In particular, the salsa... truly the best salsa i've ever had. Not a big fan of their refried beans though. Last few times have been a bit off. Doesnt matter since their breakfast tacos is what makes them golden. I've never ordered anything other than the breakfast tacos there.. its that good.

I was down visiting a friend in Austin, and had my first experience with breakfast tacos at Juan In A Million. Nowhere else can you get a breakfast taco that even compares to what they offer.

The food is delicious I only see 3 things that could improve they need to have homemade tortillas, the parking layout is horrible and the tables are too close together. It's time to make some homemade tortillas, fix the parking lot and expand Juan's restaurant.
