Ryan, Stan, and the guys are amazing. I've unfortunately been in 2 accidents in the past year, but brought my car both times to ABW. Their quote was less than the dealer (of course), and they kept me informed the entire time. Recently, my window broke its track and ABW was able to fix it for me as I stopped in. They really care and they are really down to earth guys. I can't say enough good things. I never want anyone to get into an accident, but if you do, give them your business. You won't regret it!

I would not go to any other place in Austin.

STAN IS THE MAN!. A bicyclist ran into my car and shattered my window, made a big dent on my door, scraped my front panel and bumper. I also had another dent on the other side of my car from last year. Stan was really nice and definitely gave me a good deal. Body shops usually rip you off, but Stan was very honest and treated you as if he was your best friend! I DEFINITELY recommend this place and assure that you'll be happy like I am now! :D

Knights in Shining Armor. When I backed my car into another car, my son Chris insisted we'd have to go to Austin Body Works, Inc. He recently had his truck repaired there, and said the service and workmanship was first class.

Well, I live in North West Austin, and Austin Body Works, Inc is located on E. 6th Street, so it was quite a way.

However, I was treated as though I was their very first customer, with charm and respect.

When the repair was done, we came and picked up the car. It had been washed, which I had not counted on. Somehow, it didn't drive quite right, so Chris called them and explained what seemed to be the trouble.

Stan Templeton, the owner, said he would look into it; he sent a tow truck to pick up my car, he acknowledged that something indeed was wrong, and when this repair was done, he delivered it back to me. What service!

Stan deserves to be in the Body Shop Hall of Fame.

Austin Body Works, Inc.: Highly recommended!!. I recently moved to Austin from Los Angeles, and am used to getting taken to the cleaners when it comes to any kind of vehicle work. So, when my bumper came loose and started hanging over my wheel, I cringed at the thought of getting it repaired.

But I have to say that both the staff and the mechanics at Austin Body Works were great! Their prices were outstanding and the service was prompt. They welcomed me to the city, and in return, they have a customer for life!!

As good as the reviews!. I thought the reviews were too good to be true, but Austin Body Works lived up to its reputation. I was involved in a minor fender bender, called Austin Body Works, and they said that they would look at it right away. They took a quick look, confirmed that there was no structural damage, buffed up a few scratches, and sent me on my way within a few minutes, without charging me a cent! I'd highly recommend them!!

Amazing work at amazingly affordable prices!. I had minor bumper damage and took my car to another repair shop before coming to Austin Body Works to get an estimate. The other shop gave me a $1,000 estimate and wanted to replace multiple parts. Austin Body Works shined and buffed most of the scuffs out for free while I waited! I will never take my car anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Best Experience July 2008. I took my Mazda Miata to Austin body Works on 6/30/08. Not only did they beat the Mazda Dealership's estimate by $400 (Roger Beasley wanted $850), they have the best customer service. Ryan in the front office is top notch. When I got my car back, they had washed and vacuumed my car.

I read about Austin Body Works on the Internet (Austin City Search - Editor's Pick). They are the best.

Best place in towh to get your vehicle repaired. I have taken my car here twice and they have done awesome work. They are very friendly and helpful. They definitely are up front about what it will cost. Both times their estimates have been right on the dollar with their actual costs. These guys do great work! I highly recommend them!

Best Body Shop in Austin Hands Down.. I needed to repair the trunk lid of my car, and every estimate I got from body shops was close to $1300 to find a trunk lid, paint it to match my car, and install. The guys at Austin Body Works took the time to search for a trunk lid that already matched the color of my car. They ended up finding one, attaching it, and buffing it to get the shade to match perfectly for - get this - $160. In other words, I saved over $1100 by going to them. They are some of the nicest, most genuine and honest people I've met. Please go there! They deserve as much business as they can handle!
