Where else can you drink a retail priced bottle of wine without a corking fee? This is my favorite wine bar!
Treat the body like a temple at the country's first national certified organic market..
In Short
Whole Foods is a vegetarian's dream grocery store, with a focus on natural and organic goods and a gargantuan selection of fruits, vegetables and vegan products. But carnivores won't feel neglected, as stores also boast a vast selection of top-quality meats, poultry and fish. Also expect fresh-baked goods, housewares, a floral department and a well-stocked vitamin and personal-product section. Deli offers hot and cold prepared foods and artisanal cheeses.
If you're a Whole Foods fan, a must see!. This is the MOTHER of all Whole Foods! Seriously! This is THE flagship store and is the largest of them all! You could make a good hour visit, if not more, to the store! The clothing and cosmetic areas alone are enough! And if you're hungry, there's plenty of options...prepackaged meals, carving stations, sandwich area, raw foods, coffee, and then the bars--salads, fruit and dessert, and hot food including international and comfort food. I must say the actual salad bar had a limited selection in comparison with Whole Foods in New York and Los Angeles.
The best of the best. The only drawback to Whole Foods is that it can be a little overwhelming...there is just so much excellent food. We are spoiled living one mile away. I never thought we would want to go to a grocery store to eat out several times per week!
You'll need a map or a tour guide. This store is incredible...they have an amazing variety of product, and though rather expensive, the quality is good. It's a great place to go...unless you actually need to grocery shop. Products are spread out so that there are multiple places to find meats, cheeses, produce, prepared foods...I found cheeses in at least three different places, so if you're looking for something specific, you may well have to hunt it down. The store also appears to have a large staff, several of whom wisked by carrying trays over their heads (and mine...glad they didn't drop them). A couple of employees working behind counters were helpful in their areas, but it generally appears that you're on your own. Might want to visit the bakery first so you can leave a trail of breadcrumbs.
healthy and fun. the prepared foods case, the new hot food self serve bar, and the self service salad bar make for great take out, but you can also have fun putting together your own meal on the go by exploring the bakery, fruit, cheese, and bulk item bins.
