What a way to go! Great time! – We had such a great time not driving ourselves! We piled 22 people into the shuttle bus, hit wineries, Alamo Springs Cafe and finally, Luckenbach. The shuttle arrived at our hotel on time and we were able to stick to the schedule that Dave, the owner and I agreed? Very relaxing! Jenny, our driver was safe, polite and accommodating. She left the drinking to us? Highly recommend Aloha limo and will use them again!
Worst Birthday Experience EVER!!! – I chose this company for a wine tour to celebrate my 30th birthday. When I originally spoke with the owner he gave me the a quote per hour; we agreed to 5 hours and to be back by a certain time. He stated that with in this time frame we could visit at least 2-3 wineries. I chose two specific wineries and if we had time we could visit the third. I also was very specific about what time we wanted to be picked up to leave, he kept insisting that the driver would be there prior to my pick up time but we could leave when we wanted. He also told me that typically with a large tour wineries would waive the tasting fee if out of courtesy bottles of wine were bought; I was fine with this as we all were planning on buying bottles at each stop. When the bus drive arrived he was completely clueless as to where we were supposed to go. I also figured out that the first winery we visited told us we should have called ahead to accommodate such a large party AND they do NOT waive any tasting fee no matter if you buy a bottle. I was extremely upset, so upset that the bus driver offered to call a head to the other winery to let them know we were coming so we could be accommodated. He luckly was very helpful. The next stop was a little better than the first. We were a bit rushed through out the trip. We arrived back by the time the owner and I agreed on. The bus driver indicated that we would need to pay for the additional 30 minutes. I told him I wasn't going to pay anything based on the horrible experience I had. I called the owner and explained that I would not pay for the additional 30 minutes b/c we agreed to return by a certain time and we were back at that time. I also explained that what he originally told me about the waived tasting fee was not true and that wineries recommended to call a head to let them know a large party was scheduled for that day, which was not done obviously. He DENIED everything, needless to say this phone call turned into a back and forth argument, which I told him he did not know how to run this type of business and his services horrible. On top of everything else, I had been drinking so this escalated my emotions causing me to get upset and cry- what a birthday celebration! Such a buzz kill!!!! THIS GUY DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN THIS BUSINESS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Worst Service ever. – I reserved a limo for my best friend's bachelorette party last week, and we had an awful experience. First, I called the week before we were leaving to update the place of pickup, as we initially had a different pickup spot. Well, of course our limo driver (the owner of the company, by the way), was 37 minutes late, as he went to the old location. So, we were picked up 40 minutes late. Also, in our telephone conversation, I said I would like to see 3 specific vineyards (as we were going on a wine tour), named the vineyards, and said if we have extra time, we can go somewhere else. He said, of course, and how about we also go to this other place first. I said, as long as we can make it to the other three places in the 5 hours reserved. He said, absolutely. So, after he picked us up, he brought us to this vineyard we had not read any reviews about, and spent an expected/normal amount of time there. Next, we went to the second vineyard. Same as the last, we spent as much time as it took to get our 5 tastings. This was the normal time. When we got back to the limo, he said, we have to drive back home now, your 5 hours will be up. So - after 2 vineyards, one of which we never wanted to go to - we were told we were going home. We said, that is fine, we can go on to one more. We went to the third, knowing we would have to pay more. Once we got back home, at 5:06, he gave me the bill, which stated that we had the limo for 6 hours. Therefore, he was charging us for an additional 31 minutes. I said, sir, you are charging us for an additional half hour ($45 extra). He said yes, that is what the company charges. I said at no point were we told this, and we could have gone to an additional vineyard; however, he had said that we could not. Finally, he charged us a 21% tip. He was 40 late, he never said anything to the "bride to be" as a common courtesy (such as congratulations), charged us 31 minutes while we were not in the limo, and then a 21% tip. Wow. Awful experience. Obviously we had been drinking since it was a bachelorette party - but we were a quite classy bunch, and I believe he was trying to take advantage of us because he thought he could. DO NOT USE THIS LIMO SERVICE.
