I love Shabby Slips.
There are cheaper places in town but not with the same style sense, quality, or options. If what you like is Belgian linen and one of a kind antiques, you understand the prices and know how reasonable Shabby Slips is. For me, the opportunity to have the fine fabrics and choose the color from a fantastic selection, as well as choosing the arm style, back style, pillows and dimensions of the chairs to fit the room I am decorating is worth it. The designers, Sara (owner) and Megan have been superb (and patient) with me. Money leaves my pocket reluctantly (I've spent 10 years with an unfurnished room - until Shabby Slips) and only if the value is there. The value, attention to detail and service is there.
Thank you Shabby Slips.
Thumbs up for Shabby Slips, I like them a whole lot!. I confidently recommend Shabby Slips. We've been in Austin ten years now with more then a couple of designers and bad experiences under our belt .. we have yet to strike a better relationship with a designer and their staff. My spouse and I are very happy with the service and the prices. I don't understand the negative comment about prices, because our experience has been the opposite. Shabby Slips is finishing our Great Room and the cost is less then the Pottery Barns and Crate-n-Barrels, etc... I especially love their chairs, so comfortable and yet elegant and beautiful. I'm very happy we've found Shabby Slips.
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Large fabric selection for custom-made upholstery, slip covers, duvet covers and shams; custom furniture and accessories available.
Average quality, high prices. This place is really overpriced. You can find better quality at about 30% less cost elsewhere in town.
