Editorial Review for Nau's Enfield Drug – by Susan Kirr

In Short
With wooden, church pew-style booths, mint-green tabletops, curved soda bar and swivel stools, this pharmacy feels like it must have when the Nau brothers opened it in 1951. Diner grub includes breakfast tacos, omelettes, burgers and grilled sandwiches, plus made-from-scratch malts, shakes, sundaes and ice cream sodas. The bacon cheeseburger is formed from freshly ground beef and grilled till it's tender-pink inside and crispy-brown outside, and finished with crunchy bacon and melted American cheese.

Burgers are great here if you get the "big" version and make it a double. Otherwise you might be let down. The patties are thin and the "regular" size of the bun is small. The sandwiches are decent mainly due to the good price points. No french fries which was disappointing but they do have homemade malts and shakes that are delicious and nostalgic. Service is horribly slow if you go during lunch but if you have the time then it is worth the wait. I would recommend going in the later afternoon.

Pros: Really good burger if you get the "big" version, Great shakes and malts, Old-School Diner feel

Cons: horrible service during busy lunch hours, limited parking, cramped seating
