The new place has bright, overhead lighting that engulfs all the treasures in a warm glow. On weekend afternoons, live musicians transport customers back to the old country with beautiful tunes.
The Goods
From broadswords, forged by Scotland's MacAllan Armorers, to Celtic music CDs, the gamut is run on everything Celtic. Ninety perecent of the items, from belt buckles and flasks (it is an Irish-influenced shop after all), to Celtic wedding rings and accessories, are imported from Celtic lands and the rest are created by Celtic-American craftsmen. If you're looking for an alternative to a tux, kilts are available to rent. The exquisitely-crafted silver items are quite extraordinary in form and function. Many items feature the Celtic knot, an emblem meaning that life does not always follow a straight path, but a more complicated pattern, like a knot.
