The WORST haircut I have ever received!!!!!!!!!!!!. when I went into the salon, I asked for 1 inch to be cut off. Specifically, 1 inch. Next thing you know, the guys cutting off 3 1/2 to 4 inches! WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY DOING!?!? my hair is in perfect condition and did not need to be chopped off. I will never recommend a friend to this horrid place. They are not good with long hair. Don't go......end of story!

Best Brow and Brazilian Wax in Austin.... Sara gives the most flattering Brow Shape and a swift and SMOOTH Brazilian. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Best Wax Ever! Best Salon Ever!. Okay let me just say again, best wax ever! So I moved to central Austin about a year ago from New York. I began my waxing hunt. Oh man did it suck! I tried the "studio" type places and it was awful. I had the worst ingrowns and bad waxes you can imagine. Finally I asked my babysitter (she's a UT student) where to get waxed. She told me Sara at Jose Luis is where her and all her friends go. I looked up their website and checked it out. I was impressed from the first click. Grabbed my phone and booked my brazilian with Sara. The front desk was awesome! I believe Nicole booked my appointment and answered a few questions I had. Got an email confirmation the day before my appointment which was better for me than another phone call coming in. Parking was a breeze in the garage and walking in I felt a since of relief. This salon is beautiful, clean, current and everyone is smiling. Sara came to get me promptly and gave a me a little tour and intro to the salon. She was so relaxed and sweet. Her room was clean and wonderfully decorated. Even the towels I laid on smelled like a spa :) We chatted about kids and that was about it because she was done in 10 minutes. Yes a full brazilian in 10 minutes, that's what I'm talking about! It was perfect! My skin is smooth and not even red at all. She's even better than my lady back home. I'm beyond impressed with my whole experience. I love this place. I booked my next brazilian and I'm adding brows because she fully earned my trust! Go see Sara for all your waxing you won't be regret it!

Jessica Murphey Chapman for Cut & Color!. I've lived in Houston for two years but have yet to find a salon I like - instead, I travel to Austin periodically for my color and cuts by Miss Jessica Chapman! Who is not only the nicest person on the planet, but she does a fabulous job! And I'm not the easiest person to please. I went to her for balayage and LOVED it! She always does a great job on my cuts - never going too short or doing her own thing, which I've had people do before. She always listens to what I want and I've never walked out of there anything but happy. My only complaint would be that because she's so popular she's hard to get an appointment with! So call in advance! Everyone is really nice though, there's always a good energy there and the salon is beautiful on the inside!

Terrific Salon!. I have been in a hair slump for quite some time after becoming a first time mom. The Jose Luis Salon website was very attractive and modern and the prices were very reasonable. I live in Georgetown so it was quite a drive but worth every bit! I saw Danielle and she did a wonderful job on my hair. She fixed a hacked up haircut from my previous salon (that I will never go back to). I even received a thank-you post card from Jose Luis Salon. I cant wait to go back!

Theresa Pryzbala...Hair Genius. Theresa has done my hair four years now and I couldn’t be happier with everything that she has done. I am constantly changing my color and cut and Theresa is always prepared to change things up for me. She is constantly learning the newest coloring and hair treatment techniques and is willing to tell me all about them and try them out on me. I call her a “Hair Genius” because she is so incredibly talented. Theresa is always honest as to what she thinks I can pull off style-wise and I really appreciate her expertise. I highly recommend her services.

Theresa Pryzbala. Before I started seeing Theresa at Jose Luis Salon, my hair never looked right. Then one day my mother in law was raving about Theresa at Jose Luis Salon. So I made an appointment and went in to get my hair cut and highlighted. When I left my hair was looking the best it had ever looked. Now, three years later, people are constantly complimenting me about my hair. I love my hair, and before I met Theresa at Jose Luis I could have never said that.

Not only does Theresa make my hair color and cut look better than ever. She is really talented at styling hair and applying makeup. She has done both for me a few times. Each time she somehow managed to make my skin look flawless and gave my hair those gorgeous Hollywood curls. Theresa is a Rockstar.

Everyone at the Salon is incredibly nice and the Salon itself looks and feels super swanky. I would highly recommend Jose Luis to anyone!

Jessica Chapman at Jose Luis. I have been going to Jessica for about 5 years now. I currently live in Houston but I travel to Austin every 5 weeks just to see her! Needless to say, I love her! It is so hard to find a stylist who really listens and gives you exactly what you want. Give her a try and I know you will be pleased!

Jessica Murphey Chapman - Jose Luis Salon. I've been going to Jose Luis for about 3 years now and absolutely love it! I moved to Austin from Boston and was a little worried about what to expect with salons down here but I couldn't be more thrilled with Jose Luis and my stylist Jessica M-C.

The atmospher is luxe but relaxed - walk through the doors and receive a friendly greeting and a chilled glass of wine (or hot tea/ coffee - bevie of your choice) and get ready to enjoy 2 hrs + of pamper time! :)

Jessica is incredibly personable and patient. She's a pleasure to chat with and even better knows how to ask the right questions regarding color and style. I'm EXTREMELY picky about who does my hair b/c looking naturally blonde is a MUST and blending hair color is an artform. Depending on season I tone down or play up my highlights. Jessica has nailed the color (and cut) EVERY single time! It usually takes about 2.5 hours b/c she's a perfectionist and it SHOWS! I love that... she truly takes her time with each client and makes sure you're THRILLED with the results! As an added bonus she gives the best shampoo/conditioner massage EVER (that's generally everyone's favorite part! :)

If you're looking for a SURE bet hair colorist/stylist I reco her ANYday! People new to Austin or looking for a change should check her out! Have to give props where it's due!

Salon #1. I see Audrey ..she can cut my fine thin hair! She makes it look thick and full..she also has mastered coloring my hair so that going from colored hair to gray has been easy and I always get complements on the cut and the color!

The salon is so much fun to go to..so sleek and modern, very chic! Love it!!
