Worst auto service I've ever seen
by FoxEyes at Citysearch
Had a 911 Porsche who was going under buyers review. They told me the car had a coolant leak which I could of gotten a blind man to feel around and tell me the same thing. They had no idea what part was causing it, had no clue what it would cost to fix, and wouldn't even do the job. Yet their sign says Porsche? Awful service I hope the buyer didn’t get charged because if he did he was ripped off. I wouldn't recommend or allow these people to put grease on a bicycle chain.
Best Place

I cannot say enough good about this shop. I have taken my BMW there for a couple years now. They are very honest and most important they do NOT try to get money from you for unneeded repairs. Recently I took my car in because I was concerned about a noise my brakes were making and thought they might need to be repaired due to mileage, etc. They looked it over and told me the brakes were fine and explained what the noise probably was. They had the perfect opportunity to take money from me but didn't. That has been my experience with this business for the last couple years.
I have read some of the other reviews. People cannot seriously expect to call on the phone and get an exact quote before they have even taken their car in can they? The car has to be looked at before they can be sure exactly what the issue is. So to expect an exact quote and for them to know exactly what the issue is and may include BEFORE the mechanics have had a chance to look at the car thoroughly is a bit unreasonable. It's like calling the doctor to get a diagnosis and price for all tests and medication before you even go in to be examined.
They are honest about which repairs are needed and what is not needed. Their work is outstanding. I have never had a problem with the work they have completed....unlike relatives and friends of mine who have taken their vehicles to other shops. I've heard nightmare stories from others. I trust this place and wouldn't consider taking my vehicle anywhere else.
Watch Out!

I went for a simple light repair and to have a diagnostic done to help id any additional work needed on my Volvo. Not only did the price keep changing on me - when I called them on that I was told they would do it for an additional amount so I agreed to pay more than the original quote for the same work.
A week or so later my car engine light goes on and the car is not driveable when I asked why this did not come up on the diagnostic - I was first told that they only did a diagnostic on my lights...? not the rest of my car. Then I was told I was not charged for the diagnostic. ? When I asked what I agreed to pay more for I was told I did not pay for a diagnostic.?
I do not claim to be a mechanic but this should not be this confusing.
I didn't like that the price kept changing and who knows what I paid for. Doesn't sound like a diagnostic was even done so I guess I just gave them additional money for no services.
Had they done the diagnostic - who knows maybe they would have caught this - now I am stuck getting a rental car while the Volvo dealership addresses the engine issues they missed.
Be very clear with them - or just go to Volvo dealership. See ya there!

Called Phoenix to get my BMW worked on, and they got me in and out on the same day. They don't provide loaners, but thats o.k.because they had a shuttle that took me into work downtown.
- Pros: On 6th St-easy for me to drop off and pick up
- Cons: No Loaners
Terrible phone etiquette

I've had one decent experience here. I called intending to schedule another appointment for my Volvo and to get an idea of the price for a specific part. I told the man that answered exactly what I needed to know and he immediately began to condescend. He actually said to me, "I don't know! I don't have crystal ball here!" I hung up on the guy and just assumed he was having a lousy day. I still won't bother with them again and I don't recommend their service to anyone.
- Pros: central location, volvo repairs
- Cons: rude
