Terrible. The work here is bad enough but the customer service is Horrible. I had some issues with the work and when I tried to address them with the manager he became very defensive. Cheap as they may be the bad attitude makes this shop a do not use.

Best value for your buck!. My aunt gave me her old '96 Lexus SC300 after my 280z finally rusted through. The Lexus had been sitting in the hot California sun for about 10 years and caused the paint to peel off as a result. I took it to Maaco and was quoted 2,000 dollars to repaint the entire thing, or 1,300 dollars to use the spot paint method for the stock maroon. That price included a giant dent near the left wheel as well. Actually, I think the paint job was about 600 dollars and the dent repair was about the same price.

I took the cheaper option, dropped it off and about a week later came back to a car that made my jaw drop. The work was absolutely splendid. It really did look brand new, and the dent was gone completely. For about 1,300 dollars, you really can't get a better deal anywhere.

Of course, the whole thing wasn't perfect. There are some minute places on the car where the paint has spilled over, and a piece of body molding came loose after the work. Plus there was a small scratch on the door and some more paint got on the exhaust pipes. These however, are quite small imperfections. If I wasn't looking too hard, I wouldn't even notice them, aside from the loose part which I just glued back in place.

The job isn't 100% perfect, but for getting a job that is 97% as good for a fraction of the price, I'll take it over the more expensive option any day.

I won't be back. I really wanted to get the work done here HOWEVER the man in the office named Robert was so incredibly rude to me (and everyone I saw him attend to), that I decided to take my business( and my money) else where.

The managers need to take a look at having this abusive man in their front office.

bad experience with Maaco. I had minor body work done and a paint job. Maaco did a poor job with the body work. While the dent they took out looks fine, the body panels were not corrected as well as they said they would be (I wasn't expecting a mirracle, just a good panel to panel fit). If I had known what the final product would look like, I would not have had Maaco do the work. While the bid for the work was several hundred dollars lower than the 5 or so body shops I spoke with, the work was substandard which explains the lower cost. The poor work performed on the panels was not even brought up until I noticed them during the inspection. The paint job looks good, but the clean up was not performed well (paint on stearing wheel, paint on rearview mirror).

To top off everything, they exceeded the estimate by over $150. I was not happy with Maaco and do not recommend them.

Excellent work for a reasonable price. I got a full body truck paint job for roughly $1,100 (before tax) at Maaco, (their high level option). The work looks gorgeous, and my truck looks like new. I'm no expert on painting, but the application appears perfect and extremely proffessional. The little/less important things suggest an excellent level of professionalism/quality as well, clean/organized shop, nicely cleaning and detailing the vehicle inside and out. The customer service was fantastic, (Tony). Very clear explanation of options, (see below), friendly/accomodating, does exactly what he says he will or better (phone calls, tracking down answers, time estimates), very fast turnaround (2 days), and went out of his way to research/track down an estimate for other work their shop doesn't do. I can't vouch for how the paint will hold up after 5 or 10 years, but it sure looks like it is an excellent quality long term paint job, and came w/ a 5 yr warranty..

Though there must certainly be others, Maaco was the only shop I found that had a price that was closer to $1000 than $4000 (the collision shops which take the panels off to paint for like factory/new quality and very strict application), and still did a careful/quality job (careful masking/application/finish). I found several who did the high end work, and several who did the low end ($300) work, but the latter would have been for paint combined w/ clear coat, more dubious masking/application, and (I'm guessing) lower quality paint. Maaco seemed to have good quality at a price that is not astronomical. Maaco actually has clearly defined options for 4 levels of quality from roughly $300 to $1100, (roughly something like 1 to 5 year warranty) for full body paint, so they even have the option of the low end paint quality level at the same price as the low end shops, but presumably w/ their same good quality of application as for higher quality.
