In Short – Vanilla and chocolate soft-serve ice cream is the foundation for this chain's popular sundaes, banana splits, peanut butter parfaits, milkshakes and chocolate-dipped Dilly Bars and cones. Blizzards made with such candies as M&M's, chopped up Butterfingers or Reese's Cups are a well-loved favorite.
Thank God for DQ
by LauraCreepy
DQ is one of the few chain restaurants that open in small towns in Texas and hang on there. I love DQ. Their steak finger baskets have a distinctive yummy taste and I still crave them tho I gave up on all meat except natural beef a few years back. I love their ice cream, fries & chicken sandwiches too. They are consistently of a good quality. This one is near the high school and it is fun tho slower to go when the high school kids are there and see them and their antics. Brings back memoroies cause I used to hang out at the DQ in Arlington Texas back in high school.
- Pros: consistantly good food that is served hot or cold depending
- Cons: fast food can be fattening
