What Customer Service. How can a bank provide adequate customer service when they do not list individual branch phone numbers in either the yellow pages or on the internet? All I wanted to do was make an appointment with a notary to make sure they would be there at noon and to insure I did not interrupt THEIR lunch hour. I had to call the general number which serves all branches (approx. 20) for Austin. When they did not provide the option to speak with an operator, I fudged calling a random extension and then I could press "0". I got someone whose computer was down due to lightning, which I understand. But she did not even have a hard copy of branch numbers. How much time do individuals and business waste on this kind of amateur business practice?
