Live music and a caffeine fix just on the outskirts of Town Lake Park.. In Short
Flipnotics Coffeespace has arguably the best evening atmosphere for relaxing with a cup of joe, a cold beer or a glass of wine. The spacious outdoor area at the back of the cafe has a woodsy, elevated feel; mellow lighting and Billie Holiday tunes add to the coffeehouse experience. Favorite drinks include Erroll's Espress-o-lait. For eats, there's a great quiche. Flipnotics also serves sandwiches and your basic breakfast needs--pastries, muffins and bagels.

The competition is tight..... for coffee shops in Austin, but this place consistently delivers. I can't start my day without their latte. The employees and customers are always happy & friendly, the music is great -- an Austin original! :)

Awesome. this place is the best of independant austin, free from the corporate influence of "other" shops. that and a perfect cup of coffee to boot!

By far the best coffee & scene!. THis place really exhibits what Austin is about! THe coffee rules and the staff is unbelievably friendly. I have seen some of the best Austin music in this place than anywhere else, and its free during the week! Try the Cafe au lait or their sandwiches...

Mmmm, coffee. I like the porch outside a lot. The staff is very good at making any caffeine concoction you desire.
