In Short – Curra's Grill has a laid-back atmosphere, with several dining areas indoors and a large patio outside, where patrons can sit at brightly colored picnic tables or tables covered with Mexican tiles. Paintings by local artists add a homey vibe. Items to try include queso flameado, red snapper seviche, and cochinita pibil--shredded pork wrapped in a soft banana leaf and flanked by plantains. There's also taco de cajeta--caramelized goat's milk on a browned flour tortilla.

CURRAS GRILL IS ONE THE MY FAVORITE PLACES FOR GREAT MEXICAN FOOD, I ALSO AM A FAN OF THEIR DELICIOUS AVACADO MARGARITAS THEY ARE SUPER YUMMY, AND REFRESHING, I USUALY HAVE ENCHILADAS , OR TRY A NEW APPETIZER, THE CEVICHE WAS A LITTLE DRY AND COULD OF USED MORE LIME, BUT OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Great tasting food

This restaurant is not much to look at and even the menus seem about 20 years old but the food is just really good. A lunch special of pork flautas was crispy and full of flavor. A pork dish wrapped in banana leaf was so tender and flavorful served with amazing plantains. Lamb empenadas were crispy with a nice filling. Great Salsa. Great churas which are pinto beans with bacon. Great meal overall and terrific value

Try the avocado-flavored margarita--it's earned a cult following. But be forewarned: It's almost a meal.
When to Go:
Breakfast. Try the huevos divorciados (divorced eggs), a sumptuous dish of eggs on a tortilla separated by black beans.
