Love this place!. My boyfriend and I were looking for a good Chinese place close to where we live, found Bamboo Garden, and go there all the time now. The food is great, the people are super friendly, and everything is very affordable. Especially if you happen to go during lunch. It is a little hard to find, though. I think we passed it up the firt couple of times we looked for it.

awsome food. I have been a costumer for 21 years and it still amazes me how good the food is. The won-ton in hot sauce is my favorite appetizer. The chow-mein is made in a very light sauce and their barbeque pork fried rice is the best I ever had.

A good find.. We moved to Austin last year and have been looking for a good chinese restaurant to call "home". I think we have finally found it at Bamboo Garden. After reading the reviews here at Citysearch, we visited the restaurant a couple of weeks ago and have been back several times since then, ordering different appetizers and entrees each time to test the limits of the kitchen. The food has been consistently good - even better than expected, and the service is friendly and warm. If you haven't given Bamboo garden a try, you should!

SCRUMDIDILYUMPTIOUS. The Bamboo Garden has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Even before they switched locations. Christine always remembers everyone of my family members and welcomes us in. If one of us is missing, she notices and asks where they are. Their food is to die for! And the service is wonderful. They even have neat little China ornaments, and bammboo for sale. It has a unique Chineese atmosphere, with a supreme wait staff. The food/tea is always piping hot. NOT ONCE have they screwed an order up. If you haven't been there yet, and you like Chineese food, it's a must.

Meal Deal. Bamboo Garden is nestled away at the corner of south 1st and Hwy 290. (behind 7-11 is a good landmark) Family owned and in business 26 years, that should say something! Intimate, personable, great service and great prices for lunches and dinners. So much food-filling and tasty. No frills, but if you are hungry-go there!
