I will say this: "This ain't yo momma's house, so if you don't like it loud, find another crowd!" I travel from B.F.E. to come to this place. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The Beer is so damn cold you almost need a sweater to drink it! The shows are nice, with very good, clean, and loud sound. SXSW kicks it hard with multiple stages and bands from all around the globe. A popular site for "Friday Night Lights" film shoots. The owner don't put up with any B.S., so if you come by to stir it up, I'll read about it in the obituary section. The nice bartenders always make sure your welcomed and you BEST TIP 'EM WELL!! Dorothy lied when she said "There's no place like home", what she meant is "There's no place like Trophy's"!! As Dave said, "Drink don't Drive"!

The bartenders are very nasty and disrespectful. They talk to you like you are uneducated and have never ordered a drink before. It really puts a damper on your night.

this place won't be an undiscovered gem for long. they're undertaking a big renovation project--updating sound and lights and bathrooms and whatnot, and really making a push to get it some more street cred in the world of austin rock clubs. well, i'll count myself as one of the lucky ones that discovered it first. great bands, unpretentious service, low cover charges, pool tables, an outdoor smoking area, pool tables, cheap beer, plenty of parking around. gotta love trophy's.
