Ego's

Obnoxious place and people!. This place is horrible. I live near by and see and most definitely hear exactly what goes on in there. People who drink there only go for the sad karaoke events that happen EVERY night. The place is dark but you can still see the dirt. They have no security (I think the person checking ID is 12). If you want to hang with people who act like animals from around 11:00pm to 2:00am, then this is the place for you. You too can be falling out of the door screaming unintelligible sentences while staggering around the parking lot as you try to find your car through a drunken haze! You too can have zero respect for the people who live right opposite the door you fall out of! If you aren't a night time person, then why not just pull into the parking lot on your lunch hour and blast out some crap music because everyone living around the bar really wants to hear how sad and disrespectful you are. Maybe one day, the people who drink in this nasty hole, will see the minuscule signs Ego's placed on the walls reminding the drunks to respect their neighbors.…

Not perfect, but definitely fun. I think some of the other reviewers need to lighten up a bit on this place. I use to be a regular with my friends and we would do karaoke once (sometimes twice) a week. On the drink side -its not great but they do have good prices and the bartender is sweet and hardworking. The DJ that use to be there, Skip, was perfect and made the whole experience fun. So, I would definitely recommend Ego's for anyone who wants to karaoke without feeling embarrassed. I have an awful voice, but usually the crowd sings along and laughs with you not at you.…
