I originally chose B&B because of the good reviews online. I have to say that they absolutely lived up to all of my expectations. Great service and communication about my car throughout the process. Being able to access my service records online is an unexpected bonus. I highly recommend B&B!

I drive a very old car that needs major repairs at least once a year. I started taking my car to B&B auto a few years ago and will continue to do so as I have always found them to be fair and trustworthy. Most recently, I worked with Anthony to replace the compressor and repair an engine mount. As always, he took the time to explain the issues and options to me and was very thorough in updating me on their progress. There were some issues with expired warranties etc, but in the end Anthony saved me over $1100. The team at B&B auto have consistently gone above and beyond and it's obvious they truly care about their customers. This is the kind of place you want to take your car! Highly recommend!

I have used these guys since 2008 and have never had a problem. They sell an awesome maintenance plan / oil change card that I get every year. The guy even comes to my office and sells it to me. They treat me fair and don't try to sell me repairs that I don't need. I feel like they know my car and let me know if there is something going on with it that I hadn't noticed. The waiting room is kid friendly and the guys are always very personable.

Professional, reasonable and timely. My '84 pickup needed muffler work, the age of the vehicle was no problem for these guys. They showed me the problems while the truck was on the lift. They were able to repair an unexpected problem without charging extra, and had it finished the same day.

I cannot recommend. I am sorry but I cannot recommend this business. Make sure you get a clear understanding of what they will be doing to your car and do not for one second think they understand what you want. You will surely be mislead.

I am also sorry that your experience at our business did not meet your expectations. Since there is very little information here I am unable to discern what occur or how you came to your respected conclusion. If we or any business for that matter operated with ignorance described here they would not survive long. Allowing a business to act upon a customer's dissatisfaction demonstrates their concern for their customer's and how that business is operated. Ignoring a customer's comments, negative especially, only causes larger issues. We are not perfect, no one business is but we believe it comes down to how you handle it. I would be happy to speak with you to find out what occurred, if the process was not handled properly, the outcome was beyond our control or the determining information was not well received. B&B Muffler, great service.. Excellent service, great Staff, very knowledgeable, very proffessional and curteous. The waiting room is comfortable. Don't let the "full" parking lot stop you from checking them out.

Trustworthy and reliable.
I find everyone at B & B honest and very patient. They always take time to review my car needs and answer my questions. As a woman it means a lot to be able to trust their advice.
They have fair prices, excellent service and I always use thier loaner cars. What more can you ask for?
It's nice to know that honest, local, independent businesses still exist!

partners in car care.
I have been taking my 10 year old Ford escape to B&B Muffler for inspections, oil changes, and repairs for about a year now.
What I like about them is that they are very customer service oriented and fair. Not only do they take care of repairs but they are thorough in preventative care. This can be overwhelming at first because they will give you a long list of things that need to be taken care of on the car. But if you ask, they will take the time to go over the list with you and help you understand what each thing is, how it is affecting the performance of the vehicle, what you can expect to happen if it breaks, and help you to evaluate how soon it needs to be taken care of. They keep good records-- although there have been a couple of times that I have gotten a reminder call or email about an upcoming oil change that wasn't updated in the system.
The one thing that I have found that I problematic is that the car is not usually ready on time (I don't mean by days, I mean by hours). So I make sure that if I need to be somewhere that I tell them that I need the car finished a couple of hours before that time to make sure that it is ready when I need it.
It is great to have a partnership with a good automotive shop. It takes the worry out of car care and I appreciate it a great deal!

Great All Around Service. I have been bringing my vehicle for a while now, but it's because I enjoy being preventative with my car. First it was my muffler, and after working with Earl and his knowledge of emissions I was hooked. I later brought my car in for my brakes to be redone, motor mounts installed, oil changes, and they even checked out an oil leak that I had been worried about, but they went over all the options and we ended up fixing the leak within a few weeks of diagnosing the initial problem. I am thankful that B&B works well with my crazy schedule of only bringing in my car on Saturdays, but they are good at what they do. Since I am a transplant to Austin from South Texas, I was glad to find a local shop that I can trust for all my vehicle needs.

Owner Went out of his Way to Make things Right.
I had a problem in relation to a simple repair.
The owner Mike, personally called to apologize and made it right with me. All is good.
I will certainly go back for future repairs.

I wish to start with a sincere apology which has been extended to you both personally in a phone call and now publically. While there is justified frustration involved and after reviewing what actually occurred the bottom line is our communication broke down. However I wish to point out that at no time where you LIED to as you have stated here. We just did not process the job request properly in a timely fashion as promised. The phone call with you allowed me to find out where the breakdown occurred and to make the necessary adjustments to avoid this from occurring again. I do wish to point out that when customer frustration results in derogatory comments including cussing to employees of this business in the presence of other customers does not accomplished anything. I also want to point out that sometimes things happen that delay the timely completion of a customers vehicle. We have free loan cars and offer free shuttle service to our customers to help in those situations.
